Claiming for items that you cannot claim could jepordise your case as the banks could say that you are after making a profit so I personally wouldn't add anything thats not allowed

If you use a spread sheet and enter all the details correctly then you shouldn't be over estimating and you would only be under if you missed out any charges

I will send you a spread sheet via PM please let me know when you have received it and if you need any help filling it out

  • Hi

    Hoping someone can help again?

I have some more 'wording' on Lloyds TSB statements I want to check if I can or cannot claim. :o

    On personal accounts:

    Overdraft usage fee

    Overdraft Interest

    Unauthorised Borrowing Fee

    CAIS COLL AC

    ATM Owner fee

Account charge *which appears to have been £4 each month or there abouts).

    Business account:

    CHG Refund of interest

    Charges (between certain indicated dates).

    Unauthorised Borrowing Fee

Soulutions Charge £82.25 (this may be a monthly 'Business Solutions' item)

    Bus Focus Fee

Many thanks hope someone can help then I can get them sorted and sent away, then to start on the next batch. Then theres the Credit Cards and the PPI mis-solds

    :D
  • Hi

Thanks to some helpful folk on here I am nearing completion of my bank charges reclaim for Lloyds TSB accounts and although I have done most of it some entries still stand out and I am unsure if I can claim for these and hoped someone could claritfy which ones I can and cant claim for below.

    Personal accounts

Account charge (usually £4 wondered if linked to service as appears regularly?)

    Overdraft usage fee
    Overdraft interest

    Unauthorised borrowing fee

    CAIS coll AC

    ATM Owner fee

    Business account

    CHG Refund of Interest

Charges (then it lists certain period dates between)

    Unauthorised borrowing fee

    Solutions Charge

    Bus focus fee

Then its just a case of adding it all up sticking it in the calculator puting the final figure into the letter and off to the post office I go! 1 down another 5 to go! :o

    Many thanks.

    Personal accounts

Account charge (usually £4 wondered if linked to service as appears regularly?) cannot claim

    Overdraft usage fee can claim
Overdraft interest Can claim if claiming compound interest if not hen you cannot claim

    Unauthorised borrowing fee can claim

CAIS coll AC don't know what this is!

    ATM Owner fee cannot claim

    Business account

CHG Refund of Interest Cannot claim as this is money they have already given you!!

Charges (then it lists certain period dates between)

    Unauthorised borrowing fee Can claim

Solutions Charge Don't know what this is but sounds like it's something that you can claim

Bus focus fee Still don't know what this is!!

Then its just a case of adding it all up sticking it in the calculator puting the final figure into the letter and off to the post office I go! 1 down another 5 to go! :o

    Hi

which calculator have you decided to use?

It may be worth calling your branch and asking for an explanation
    of

    CAIS coll AC
    Bus Focus Fee
    Solutions Charge

Then paste what they say on here and we'll help you.

Don't forget to keep your buisness and personal account claims seperate. When you get to the court stage put BUISNESS ACCOUNT CHARGES RECLAIM at the top so that it doesn't get stayed. At the moment ALL personal account reclaims are being stayed.

Do you qualify under Hardship rules ?
    Read this thread to see

    http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/showthread.php?t=9760

Paste 78 gives you the details

goodluck and don't worry about asking more questions

  • Thanks for the advice. I dont think I can claim for the Solutions item as it was I recall linked to the Business Banking account (Business Solutions) shame as its for around £82. Never mind musnt be too greedy hey? ;)

The charges for certain periods are usually in monthly batches (eg 2july - 1Aug) so assume theyre what I have paid for returns etc?

Reguarding the calculators I havent used any yet thats my next step once I have a final figure from all these adding ups.

Not sure what is meant by "Can claim Overdraft interest if claiming compound interest" what's compound interest and should I claim it or the alternative (whatever that be)?

    :o Its getting confusing lol

Thanks Ill get there with your help!
