It was on this page but the article has now been edited to include the bit about BG but excludes the bit I saw.

Just checked again and the prices remain unchanged. I'd expect a rise in the future though. MY tariff is almost £300 cheaper then the EDF standard. I feel sorry for the people who are not as money savvy or unable to use the internet like us mse'rs0 -
I'm on online v3 and I'm sure the gas prices went up c. 6 months ago. If this is the case tin kitten then
Yes you're right - gas went up around 12% from memory. Electricity remained the same.Just checked again and the prices remain unchanged. I'd expect a rise in the future though. Nice to know it isn't going up this time. I have applied last December to switch over to Scottish Hydro 2008 Price Fix as I expected these rises. Due to switch on the 29th. Price was almost exactly the same - only £4.36 dearer but then I get £30 cashback fro switching.
I'm half tempted to stay but I think EDF Online v3 will go up later this year if it's not going up now. Of course I could be wrong.0 -
Im with EDF for Gas and Electric Duel Fuel Price Saver 2008
Just spoke to EDF and they confirmed im being charged the following;
Electric 13.05p per KWH for first 9000 units and 7.82p for anything else.
Gas 3.227p per KWH for first 9000 Units and 2.02p for anything else.
I asked about the Online tarif but couldnt tell me anything about it?? very odd and couldnt see reference to the online tarif on their web site.
Also have had metre man out to take readings and still they bloody estimated the bill.
Really considering changing supplyer can anyone shed any light on what provider is better and most of all cheaper to switch too??
I queried with EDF about how much to pay by direct debit and they said electric would be £30 per month and gas would be £55 taking into account current bill Electric £105 and Gas £178. Up to now i just pay when the bill comes in but flamin ech i havent got enough to pay this one off being a winter bill robbing peter to pay paul again tut tut! Oh and if i do switch supplier any cash back insentives floating about??? lol money better in mine than theirs lol:T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Without you all, where would we be ??:T

That cannot be correct!
I think you will find that for electric you are being charged at the higher rate for 225kWh per quarter - 900kWh per year(not 9,000) if you use the full 225kWh each quarter.
For Gas the higher rate is 1465kWh per quarter - 5,860kWh per year if you use the full 1,465kWh each quarter*.
*Some people do not use the full 1,465kWh in the summer quarter.0 -
Martin was right... he said thet one by one they would all raise their prices..
jsut have to give it a couple of months and then shop around.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

I am simply stating that what you posted is incorrect; it really doesn't matter how that information was obtained.
Are you saying that I am mistaken?0 -
