You're both experiencing "the spread".

As you have rightly said, your accuracy is no longer the sole barometer when deciding stars.

I've been at 93% accuracy before and lost stars because i've been rating 5's and 6's constantly.

but then that's the fatal flaw with "the spread" because most of the tracks on STP are within the 4 to 7 range anyway, so if you have a day when you get fed average song after average song then you really have no choice and you will lose stars.

the old system just made it far too easy for people to take money from the site, and this new system - coupled with the reduction in scout rates - makes it a lot harder to do that.

that's nice innit .. one of the few days i'm on 5 stars overnight and it's the day when the entire top 10 get 5 as well - and i'm 10th !

Well done Jason :T 10th is better than 442nd.... lol I think I just get worse and worse.... was at 4 stars for most of yesterday though, just went down to 3 at the end and gave up :rolleyes:

you do find actually that some websites actually rent out error pages for advertising purposes - it's a very weird situation when it happens.

the site that hosts my forum had a wrestling site as their error page which completely threw me the first time it happened - until i found out they'd rented it out for advertising.

i'm done for the day anyway - got creamed over the 50 songs, but luckily i've at least managed to finish on 4 stars and 90.6% accuracy.

Looks like I will be able to get lots of scouting done today as can't get into work as all the roads near me are closed because of the snow! What a shame !!

Same, my uni has been shut for the day, lets just hope I can get in the scout room coz i seem to have a lot of problems lately.

brutal day's scouting today .. had about 20 songs in a row that were absolutely terrible. i was handing out 4's and 5's like smarties

was on 2 stars for about 15 songs, but just managed to finish on 3 .. phew !
