yeah i got one elvis track the other day
am currently up to 86.14% and 2 stars off of 124 tracks
must admit im one of the newbies that are currently getting slated( though not been posting on the forums) and i must also stte that i have been really surprised at the level of the music, really pleased and really enjoying it too.
Im aiming for my 3 stars as the next step though understand that up to 300 tracks is common, or around the 90% mark
Been really impressed with an Irish chap called Ian Martin, got one of his tracks as one to watch, but it messed up and wouldnt let me submit the review for another0 -
hey I have over 750 tracks and still on 2 stars even though my accuracy stays around the 87% mark!!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

i think you need to nudge it up a bit more, or look at the quality of your reviews - are you writing more than 4 lines ?
i'm 50 away (hopefully) from my 4th star and 9 whole p per song
just to give you a goal to aim for - it's apparently generally understood that to get to 5 stars, you have to have reviewed over 10,000 tracks and tipped an artist who makes it to the showcase.
so not many to go0 -
Dolph is in this room aswell, Lauraful In Uganda is the name of the song, and I hate to admit it, but I quite liked it!!!
(except for the screaming bit!)
He seems to have put a bit of thought into this track, there is a beat and...... THERE ARE WORDS!!!
Just a bit of warning for people, it starts with the usual roadrunner, then some quacky duck noises and he sings and then the shouting!
(I hope I'm not the only person to quite like this? Does that make me strange?)
Now for something entirely different! I got my first warning today,
"It would be better for the artist if I typed myself, 755 letters a minute?"
Thats cos I was typing into notepad, then cutting and pasting.Debts @ LBM#1(2007)-£4375

maybe it's me, but i just hated dolph's stuff - i wrote that i got the joke after the first one, but just slated him in the second one.
i found the cascada track during the course of reviewing last night as well - i wasn't too kind with that either
i've never really found the need to cut and paste from notepad - seems to be too much messing around for me. easier to type into the review box when it drops down. there is a thread on their forum at the moment which does seem to advocate cheating with the "cut and paste trick" which i'm not a fan of.
i'm (hopefully) 5 songs away from 4 stars0 -
I cant say I liked the other Dolph stuff, and I think on the first one I also really went to town on him, I started ranting about pregnant women and people with heart conditions, but this newer one, apart from the stupidity of it and the screaming, sounded as though he'd made a bit more of an effort.
I think for the cut and paste, it was just an easy option for me...it gave me chance to write my review as and when I heard the different parts of the song (eg... if I liked a part in the first 30 seconds, I didnt forget to say so)
I know what you mean about advocating of cheating, to be honest I dont see the point in cheating, it doesnt hurt to be honest and after all, that is why we've signed up, to help out the new artists....seems a bit daft to be ignoring all the rules just to get a fast and easy 5p LOL.
Good luck for the 4 stars, I'm nowhere near at the moment, I'm 3 star, 687 songs and can't check my accuracy as facebook no longer supports the application. (I'm not wanting to faff about with the changing countries option LOL)Debts @ LBM#1(2007)-£4375

well my 4th star arrived eventually (about an hour after I reached 1501 songs) .. 9p per song now.
And only 8,500 songs to go for my 5th ...:eek:
the facebook issue seems daft really - my app works fine, but so many other ones don't.
might be worth looking into it, see if it can be bodged i s'pose0 -
Evening jason thats some good going :j the few pence more will help
well done0
