they've just announced on STP that the scout room is going to be extended for another week - at least.

The showcase has been extended to the 27th, so I imagine this will be the same for the Scout Room.

I'm really annoyed as it's thrown out all my planning - probably means I won't be able to earn enough to cover my Virgin & Mobile bill on the 1st of November and i'll have to cover them myself.

The last 5 I've done have 'had problems please request the next track' messages, finding it really frustrating.

Had this problem the other day there, so i gave up.

Seems to happen now and again though, pain in the bum!

I'm curious about it, as some of the bands that came through were fantastic and were possibly worth considering....

apparently martin recommended slice the pie in the news of the world on sunday, which resulted in roughly 2000 people signing up, which has really stuffed everything up for the rest of us - the scout room has been re-opened, and will probably run for another week at least.

so for those of us who finished it over a week ago, we'll have to wait even longer now.

it's unecessary really as they've had more than enough reviews and votes now to declare a winner and start the showcase, and also to move on to the next scout room.

Well now I am confused.

I got an eamail from STP saying a new room had opened but from what your saying it is in fact just the last one reopened?? Confused.

yeah, All Genres 10 has re-opened, due to the influx of new people signing up after Martin recommended the site in the News of the World.

There's currently some confusion as to when it will end though!
