  • Good -- sunny, bouncy, raucous, plucky, well produced, smooth quality, introspective (for tracks that have good speaks from the heart lyrics) soaring, heartfelt, meaningfull, from the heart, meandering

    Bad - not linear, no structure,banal,uninspiring,lacks depth,sparkle,no charisma,flat,no thought,no passion,no feeling,un original,samey,odd,bizarre,thrown together,

I also irrgeular but this can be a good thing, i say irregular pace or tempo meaning a drum beat that isnt your standard pace

Yeah that should add a few more :-)

    Part of the Furniture
like a lovely porcupine playing in a summer meadow with his favourite hat on

Would love to see the artists' faces when they read that in a review! :T

I've just tipped 3CE - Love You (X) Hate You - fab commercial sound. Has anyone else had them yet?
  • I've just had a Kate Nash type song about wanting sombody because they've got £20 of Argos vouchers:D - wasn't written by one of us was it?;)

Last nights selection included a Springsteen tribute act and a rap about being a Lesbian.
"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,
    Telling me about the sea..."
  • I write refreshing a lot, and well produced....although when I get a one worthy of 'refreshing' I often write quite a hyperactive, thank god, type of review, that I can imagine would take some of the bands by suprise, my first one last night after the previous nights dribble went something like:

'Yay! Whoooo, This track is like a breath of fresh air, really refreshing admist everything else. Now I feel like dancing. Top notch fello/as! :D'

As for the porcupine, I feel sorry for his hat!
  • Grass stained feet i think i might give my bands a heart attack i often will start a great review with
    wooooooooo or geeeeeeeeetar :-)

It amuses me and i hope goes someway to convey my excitement
  • Hehe! yay! I'm not alone :D

I was thinking actually, maybe it is a good idea for a few 3/4 starrers to post up one or 2 reviews they have made (just copy and paste from the history bit on STP). And then put them up on your FAQs, so that people who can't seem to budge from the lower stars can see what a typical 4 starrer review is like, to try and work out better why they aren't getting the promotion they deserve! Just a little range, no need to over do it.
  • Its ok, the hat likes a bit of pain. Its quite a kinky hat.
