Although for some strange reason in the trading section you have to withdraw money by bank transfer as there is no option for paypal (which I have queried with STP and still awaiting response).0 -

Excuse my musical ignorance (judging by some of the tracks, I'm not the only one) but what is the term for the 'background music' in a track? ie. if a rap song has crap lyrics and vocals but want to praise the instruments/tune, what do i call it?0

Backing track?
I tend to refer to the vocals/artist/rapping (usually sucky/sweary:rolleyes: ) and then refer to the underlying/backing/supporting music (usually a sample of what used to be a great song...:mad: )
