Bit of a mixed bunch today, some decent stuff (notably a marked increase in good rap/r & b tracks!) but a lot of talentless drivel. There was one very bizarre track that seemed to be sung by pixies on helium :undecided
  • Does anyone know how much info is streamed when you listen to a song on STP? I have used a lot of my bandwidth this month already and I can't account for where most of it has gone  Does using STP a couple of hours a day add up to a lot or is each song very small?

  • Not a very technical answer, but I'd say its probably a fair bit. I cant have anything downloading while I do my Pie or it won't go. Of course that may be my increasingly lame computer.
  • This could be a long post, but I keep a list of words I use in my STP reviews to make sure I'm not always saying the same thing, many of which I have cribbed from other peoples reviews posted on this thread.I don't always use the same words but its useful to have a list to help jog my memory so I don't always end up calling each track catchy LOL

    Good tracks
sings with passion, professional, interesting, well performed, character, original, fresh, unique, upbeat, personality, summery, commercial, individuality, innovative, distinctive, pleasant, enjoyable, memorable, catchy, great, fab, wonderful, enjoyable, Emotion

    Bad tracks
Boring, uninspiring, bland, unimaginative, generic, tuneless, unoriginal, weird
Uninteresting, random, pitching, tuning issues, don't sing with conviction, dull, boring, flat, strange, indescribable, superficial, Superfluous

What other words can people add to the list?

good - relaxing, inspiational, dynamic, balanced , catchy , well constructed

bad - repetitive, typical, predictable, poorly constructed
  • Bad – flabby, plodding, banal, lazy, brutal, unoriginal, mind numbing, derivative, offensive, puerile, painful, laughable, vomit inducing

Good – refreshing, original, mellow, atmospheric, toe tapping, sharp, challenging, creative, edgey, daring, like a lovely porcupine playing in a summer meadow with his favourite hat on

Er, got a bit experimental towards the end there J
