What is Sky Broadband really like?

Yeah I think so too. I'm sure Orange upgraded to LLU in the area as this was around the time I got a few problems.

Just wondering if LLU can provide faster speeds than ADSL?

Just wondering if you take sky basic for free, are you still tied in with 1 r's contract? I was thinking of testing the sky basic before committing myself to the midi one. Thanks

Well if ADSL2+ is enabled in your area then you will be able to get speeds "up to" 24mbps depending on how far from the exchange you are

Yep you take 1 years contract with them even on the free service, you cannot downgrade during the first 12 months but you can upgrade. We took the free service, made sure our line etc were set up properly, kept a check on it for speed and stability and then upgraded when we knew it was good enough to pay for.

Currently on maaf, previously on aol. Is anyone on Sky Connect as that's all we can get in our area. We'd get double allowance of 40gb for £3 a month less. Is it worth it?
