I really need to know what the Max package from Sky Broadband is like because when you search for reviews on the net, some of them say yeah its great but most say "Its complete rubbish steer clear" now if this is the case then i've really been a fool in cancelling my AOL account.

Can't answer but was about to post the same question!!
Looking to go to Sky (8mb package) from AOL (to save me about £11 a month and more than double my speed!!) but like you, it depends on service.0 -
i've had it for almost a year i think and its been great, no problems, no slow downs, no reasons to call CS, the most painful part was getting it set up in the first place, dunno if thats cos of BT or sky and was a bit annoyed having to call an 0870 number to sign upYes Your Dukeiness

general consensus seems to be that the LLU product is superb, and the ordinary adsl is dire, check which is available to you before committing.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

i moved from aol to sky mid, last year, aol were brilliant never had one problem with them, but saving £100 + a year was to tempting!!
sky has been absolutely fantastic ! a few minor problems with the old v1 router but nothing to bad! i now have a new V2 router which is what you will receive, and now sky bb is even better!!
with aol i was getting less than 2000 kb/s speed for £14.99 a month
with sky im getting around 7000 kb/s speed for £5 :T0 -
Hey PaulK
I checked those sites and the max in my area is 4mb (see below). Is it possible though that Sky could be quicker? - I am on Orange at the moment and not very happy.
I know some of the terminology so how do I know if I would get LLU or ADSL?
Cheers WJUK
