My debt diary/SOA

Hi all,
Been using MS money and spending diary for a while now and I actually feel loads more in control of my money, MS money is a bit American and it doesn't seem to take in to consideration the time delay in moving money from one account to another which can get confusing!
Downloaded Robo Form for Firefox last night and have started entering competitions who knows I might win something! I'm going to try and spend an hour a day doing it does that seem reasonable?
I am using pigsback and quidco in my lunch hour at work, to make sure I get my daily clicks in.
Just looking at my sig and it seems I have paid off nearly £400 this month already! Quidco paid out and I haven't been anywhere in a while so that must be it. wish I could do that much each month.
Cannot believe its still nearly 2 weeks till pay day! Have worked out I should get about £120 (after tax) overtime this month depending on when the cut off was. I've put my name down for 3 Saturdays in Feb as well. So that should do well and I have to help paint for the forseable future so thats £30 a day. I know I should be grateful of the money, but its really hard work and its a new house so there are no toilets, heating, clean spaces to make food! and it means I don't have a weekend anymore, one more thing to look forward to when I'm debt free I guess!
Ok I'm rambling now so I'm going to make a cuppa and start entering more comps......

Evening,
Well after some encouragement from you guys I have joined Grassroots. Although there are no assingments showing yet is that normal? Have also joined slice the pie and I'm listening to songs now and rating them, I can see it being a long term money earner and not a quick hit.
On other notes OH came back from Germany last night with a moulded blue Elephant, it's amazing! he didn't think I'd like it so he got me some Chanel moisturiser:eek: is it bad that I liked the freebie more? Went to the pub for a drink afterwards but he drove and I didn't have anything so worked out a NSD yesterday.
Mum bought me dinner and some milk tonight so its going to be a NSD again today, just at my Grans now looking after my uncle whilst they go out and they have given me my birthday present (£25) Not sure what to do with this? It's still a week and half till payday but for the first time there is money in my account and I don't quite know what to do...
And thats about all for today, feeling a little bit more upbeat about things today,
Hope everyone has a good day

hey
Not updated in a couple of days, I spent the weekend working like a good DFW!
Saturday I did overtime at work so that will be in Febs pay packet. And Sunday I painted the house for £30, I couldnt move my arms yesterday and it feels like I'm carrying carpets under my arms but its all good.
Payday isnt until next Monday and I'm starting to feel a bit skint. I have £87 left on my ASDA card which is going to charge me interest from today but I'm hoping there will only be a weeks worth of charges so that shouldn't be too much. Right?!
Still feeling a bit pants at the min, don't feel like I have anything to look forward to this year. I'm trying to be positive, it can't be any worse than last year

That's great to hear! Only another few days til Monday. I'm quiety moaning that I don't get paid til the 29th, but hopefully I'll dip very little into the O/D.
Although the TV is on the fritz, so probably a little more than I hoped to!0 -
29th is only tuesday so not long for you as well, doing overtime at work today but the computer system we use is down so spending most of the day on here
and then I'm off from Monday for a week and a half wheeee

Just went home for lunch and my payslip was there so I'm working out my budget here goes:
Wages
£907.96
Fixed Bills
Mortage £254.54
Rent £164.13
Council Tax £87 (is this month a free month?)
Electric £22
Gas £23
Water £30
TV Licence £11.65
Tiscali £35
Contents £8.40
Life Insurance £7.40
Mobile £11.00
Debt Repayements
Mortage arrears £26.16
Goldfish £40
OH £20
Total £739.99
Leaving £167.97 for the month. I was going to pay my asda card off, which I think is about £87, I'll check when I get home so that will leave me with £80 for the month, or £20 a week!
This time they have only paid me for 1 days overtime, so next month i should have about 5/6 days coming to me so I have more money,
However I'm still doing some cash in hand jobs painting on a sunday and getting £30 for it so I won't be too badly off.
What does anyone think? Is it doable?

Hi
I've been to pick up my aunt from the airport today, she's over from Australia for a couple of weeks so we can either scatter or bury dads ashes whichever we end up doing. I though I was starting to get better about things but I guess not as I am back to the emotional wreck I was up until the beginning of January. Its a good job I'm off for a week from now as I don't think I'll be any good at work.
Anyway on a debt free wannabe front, I'm already over my budget for the week and its only Tuesday! I'm supposed to be going on a works night out tomorrow and I've organized it, although I don't have any money
can't really get out of it.
Joined up for a couple of mystery shopping sites, and although I keep checking them all the assignments keep going!
I've been checking pigsback and quidco daily, although they both seem to have stopped doing as much now, I also started on slice the pie, earnt 60p and they closed the scout room! GRRRR:mad:
Ive just received the AQA pack so maybe third time lucky??? If anyone has any tips on how to fill it in that would be great.

Afternoon everyone,
Spent most of yesterday afternoon entering all the comps due to finish on 1st Feb and there were hundreds so hopefully should win something. Will do some more today, I have to win something big at some point don't I!?
I've decided I need a holiday, something good to look forward to this year, I have the middle two weeks in June off and I think I might go to Turkey it seems nice there. Not going to discuss it with OH as he would much rather spend £2k on 3 days at the Monaco Grand Prix which I just can't justify, so if he won't come with me, I'll go on my own! (or just book it and tell him he's coming) Does anyone have any ideas where the best place in Turkey to go is?
Not feeling to great again, I need something to pick me up out of this slump I'm in but everything I've tried just makes things worse...
okies, off to look at the flight checker.....
