Oooooo I hadn't thought of that! Thank youI have frozen blueberries and frozen strawberries that I didn't want to go to waste just as they were going over... unfortuneately I think I have more of a strawberry block, than nicely frozen individual berries, but I guess I could try a little stress-relief-bashing for near enough the same outcome.

I just made strawberry muffins today with over-ripe strawberries I cut up.0

How about strawberry sorbet, or strawberry water ice, even strawberry lollies, you'd get a nice strong flavour and texture even if they are a little over ripe. Hope that helps Cheers Lyn.0

Add to stewed apples and make a crumble. Nothing nicer!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Hello,
Just a big thanks, after reading all the tips on here I had my first big shop with Tesco today, it is to last 2.5 weeks to my meal planning and I have spent less than I do normally in a week by planning carefully and going for value products as recommended in other threads! I had a huge amount of stuff for the money was so pleased.
One silly thing I did do though... Is accidentally order 2 packs of strawberries.
I have used up half a pack in a trifle. But unsure of what to do with the other 1 and a half packs. Maybe just one pack as I won't be able to resist making choc dipped strawbs with the other half!
Anyone know of any quick and easy recipes. We will be eating my big trifle for a few days so could do with being able to last longer than that. Maybe puddings etc I could have in the freezer?
Quick and easy as poss please as I'm heavily preggers and have a toddler to run after too0 -
I would whizz up with some milk maybe a banana and make a smoothie. Strawberries can be frozen and whizzed up from there. Simple.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

Great idea that would be lovely with breakfast tomorrow! I also have a bag of clementines that are not good enough to eat on their own - they are a bit mushy, shrivelly and over sweet even though fairly new.
Any ideas for what I can do with those or do I have to throw them away and scold hubby for getting a crap bag0
