Halfords clearance sections.

Got some Meguiars cleaning brushes including wheel brush £5, detailing brush £1, tyre brush £1. Putt returner £1. Stock seems to vary store to store but there are one or two bargains lurking about so worth a look.

    Carlisle:

Turtle Wax high gloss (trigger spray and tub versions) £1 (was £5.49 approx)
Gunk Tar 'n Bug Remover (aerosol) £1 (was £3.49 approx)
    De-Solv-it Universal Stain Remover 200ml(aerosol) £1 (was over £5 I think)

Lots of other stuff, but that's what I came away with (there were more of these left).

  • Think all the bargains had gome from mine, most of the stuff left was £1 off rather than £1 to buy.

Theres also free RainX samples at counters in some stores according to a post on the freebie board.

The best thing I found for sticking things to glass is the no more nails double sided tape. I got some rear view mirrror glue from wilkinsons and it was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. If the glue doesn't work the second or third time, I recommend getting some of the no more nails tape as it should do it first go :)

These are the kind of things I've always used in the past.
