You pity me .. yet praise up Phil ...mmmm :rolleyes:There a quite a few things going on in my life that you could throw a bit of pity at - thinking that you were so over the top supportive of Phil that you could be his Mum (joke BTW) is not one of them!
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -

I hope you're physically fit - I don't want to put you off, but the people I know in FM are self-confident, pro-active, ace at problem-solving, work with minimal supervision, don't mind getting their hands and clothes filthy, have a can-do attitude, have excellent people-skills and communication skills, and don't mind being treated like ****. They're the first on call when the toilet overflows, and they frequently get a call at 5am on a Sunday to be told the aircon's broken down or the fire alarm's gone off yet again. And they get no thanks for it. You'd better prepare yourself for all that; it's a tough job. I wouldn't choose to do it.0 -
Just think of all those extra threads working for the CAB!
There are other ways of getting into facilities SP. Our facilities manager worked within the back office for a year, transferred to the post room side for 6 months for an easier life and then got the job.
You could always get into an office and put the question out there to them.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
