I was given one of these balls at christmas but can't work out how to use it best it didint come with any instructions or exercises - any tips?
I do all my exercises actually sitting on the ball. I do pelvic floor strengthening exercises, abdominal muscles and even ham string stretches. I don't do any of the lying on the floor etc. exercises but there are lots of web sites with ideas of things you can do with the ball. I have a book which my kids use but the exercises in it are beyond me.

pigpen your hair is like mine. I got it cut shoulder length just before Christmas and it is a bit too short as it wants to frizz. It needs to be just a little bit longer to pull itself straighter with its own weight. I hate the rain as it goes into ringlets and I am too old for ringlets.
Pollybear :osorry:o won't mention it again.

Right must fly and do yesterdays list. My bedroom seems to be one of the glory holes where kids and DH dump stuff.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Just picked up monkey from nursery, she is being a right little madame:mad: They really know which buttons to push dont they? I'm ignoring her right now, she snaps out of it faster if i dont argue back:o Not much done today, due to our lie-in.
Stripped all the beds as i didnt do ours yesterday. No point in cleaning the bathroom as hubby is doing some work in there and there is dust everywhere:eek: Also went and did the food shop when LO was at nursery, i always seem to spend far more when hubby is with me:rolleyes:

I'm in good company with all the other curly flyladies then? My hair is a nightmare, my hairdresser says it is the thickest head of hair he's ever seen:eek:

Woohoo! :j I finally made it to the end of the thread - it's only taken me since about 10 this morning! Haven't been on since Saturday, as I've been ill so had a whole 17 pages to catch up with (50 posts per page I think). Embb well remembered - I am 24, but raph you are younger than me, as I'm 25 on July 1st.

After having a great first full week of teaching, I went down with a horrible fluey type bug that I thought at first was the beginnings of tonsillitis, so went to the doctor after school on Monday, and got antibiotics, cos had loads on at school this week, including my first parent's eveing tonight. However, after a bad night on Monday, I went into school on Tuesday morning, and was told that an important meeting with my NQT advisor from the council had been cancelled, as my mentor was off sick. I was then told to go home after first lesson cos I looked dreadful. I courageously (or stupidly depending on how you look at it) went back in on Wednesday, in case my mentor came back (he didn't) and was sent home at lunch. Well last night, my voice started to disappear, so I called the head to say I wouldn't be able to make it in today as my voice was going and I didn't think I'd make it through a full day teaching as well as parent's evening. He was really sweet about it and said not to worry about it. The school called me this afternoon, and could hear how bad my voice was still, and told me not to come in tomorrow, so I'm off again. Trouble is, most of the things I need to write my lesson plans for next week are at school! Oh well, looks like I'll be winging it in maths and English next week, unless of course someone has done my plans for me.

On the plus side, it meant that I could catch up with all of the goings on here. It's nice to be back!

My Dad came over earlier with some boxes of balm tissues and a couple of tins of soup, and OH is ordering a chinese takeaway tonight (I'm paying though) so I don't have to cook. :T

Well I'm off to put the kettle on now, and see if there is a good film to snuggle up to on 5. See you all later.

    snufflymouse xx

And why I've got an enormous bag of condoms in the cubbie when we rarely use them is anyone's guess other than I can't resist a freebie (does an apple or blueberry condom count towards your 5-a-day? :p ).

Not when you only lick/suck them no! - sorry :p:D

pigpen my hair's the same, and I'm exactly the same when it comes to getting something done with it, I was ok this time cause there was a photo on the wall with the exact hair cut I wanted so it was easy, and we're twins cause my hairs just frizzed up thanks to the rain, I look like this:- http://www.webster.uk.net/HistoryAndCulture/CwmbranInfo/Images/GONK200.jpg

Been out since I last posted, advisor told me to the phone the company first to see if they would guarantee me 16 hrs a week and they said YES!!!! woohooo! so if I get the job I get maximum WTCredits and benefits - Fab! Had 4 shops to choose from for my clothes/shoes, nothing to fit me in 3 of them but got some black slacks and a nice top from Asda, AND a lovely pair of leather shoes from BHS - bit of a faff having to get complimentary letters off them and going back to the DSS office but I got there in the end. I'm SO excited! :j

DD2's hair texture is like yours pigpen. It looks lovely when its first washed and dried all soft curls but once she has slept on it it turns to afro frizz. My hair is looking worse than ever thanks to this blooming wet horrible weather, dont get half so depressed with my hair in the summer. It needs washing now but what is the point in spending an hour drying and straightening it when 2 mins outside in the morning and it will look like it does now! Did like the idea of the chemical straightening thing but £180:eek: .

Did iroining just to be put away, have hung DH work shirts up. Pizza dough doing its thing in the BM at the mo so will give kitchen yet another S & S.

Littles eating chocolate & banana loaf and anything else they can get their hands on - think they must have growth spurts on.

Embb - great to hear you so excited about things after the downer with the OH situation. New Hair, new job, new man;) ???

Milky coffee me thinks - got hunger pangs:o

Can you tell me what the book it please - I fancy it as a Birthday present.

No surprises that the courier came whilst I was out:mad: DS2 sensibly told him I would be back in 5 minutes - he said he'd do a delivery and come back - that was 45 minutes ago - we will see.

Just hand washed some toys DS3 doesn't want anymore - they are spinning now.

SM DS3's teacher is an NQT and she was off after the first 2 weeks sick. I was talking to the staff at the secondary int he staff room last week and they were all saying how ill they had been when they first started teaching so you are not alone.

That sounds like it could maybe be all the stress? There's usually loads when you start a new job.

Thanks shell well, you never know ;) OH seems to be trying to get into my good books but there's a looooooooooooooooong way to go.

Right, need to get some stuff done instead of boring you all with my life, laters lovelies x :hello:
