All the ironing done, school uniform for the week and OH shirts. Kids just been caught upstair watching tv in my room so not happy that I walked in and switched it off.

Going to sort out some washing to put on and then off to bed to read Saturday's paper or I'll sit here for hours. See you all tomorrow. Oh need to go and lay on the floor with a rolling pin behind my back like the chiro told me to do at my last visit 6 weeks ago.

Hi everyone. I'm going to be a bit of a wimp on this and not commit to a message exactly what I'm planning to get done. I know, I'm a coward, but I'm doing different work this week, not heard from the place I'm in tomorrow about start time etc, so all a bit vague. I'll let you know if I'm successful later and maybe next week, when I'm back to normal training instead of signup documentation, I'll be more brave. Put it down to me being a Newbie. :o

Michelle am I allowed to print your list off and burn it? You really worry me doing all that! Please make sure you delegate some and rest in between.

Chinese was lovely **ickle burp** but will probably feel ever so guilty for having it tomorrow, oh well at least he paid (don't pass out in shock, he might ask for the money off me yet) and I haven't bought a battery for my scales yet so can work on removing the excess added before I weigh myself :rotfl:

Right, pack ups done, kids & my clothes out, need to sort DS1s juice bottle then think that is me finished. Oh and I got ALL the dry laundry away :D DS2 helped as he's a little star and DS1 moaned about helping because he's being a brat! I must try to keep on top of it. DP has dozed off twice on the sofa now so think we'll be in bed before 11pm tonight after

TWO PINTS OF LAGER LIVE!!!! I just seen it advertised, just have to watch it as I really like that programme.
One day I might be more organised...........

Well managed to get DD bathed and in bed with a story read by 8.45 which is the first time in months thats she's been remotely near bedtime. Hope this is the start of some good behaviour, but to be fair to her, I usually just let her get on and play so maybe spending the time with her is working.

Michelle I agree with lilme your list is wayyyyy to long for you to be doing on your own, how much of it can your OH or work colleagues do.

and before I forget Rach you are doing too much too, hope you find time to wind down a little this week, the wedding will be fine (I work at a wedding venue, so let them do the worrying)

Well I'm just downing a quick :coffee: or 2 :coffee: (oh and a bar of choc and bag of sweets :o ) before cracking on in the kitchen. I was going to bake tonight but I think as its still llike a launderette in there that I'll do the cleaning tonight and bake tomorrow. Kids will have to have a choccy bic instead of cake tomorrow.

    Must meal plan too
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

So when a new weekly thread has started, does the old one still run or get deleted after a while? I'm off to have a cuppa tea, have to make it myself because i didn't get one on the other thread

That's my fault and I'm so, so sorry.. I hope you've not gone thirsty all day.:o :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

I had no idea it was 9pm, I've been indulging in Amelie - one of my old Sunday afternoon favourites. I think I needed a blub and it always sets me off!

Anyhow, ta for the new thread Lil_me. I'm in again this week. Half hour daily on the tasks, one hour chatting. Just how I like it! Welcome to the thread this weeks new folks, the more the merrier. I've not finished reading the thread yet and I'm not doing any more this evening. There's dishes in the sink but I'm not budging from this sofa.

This is the thread to keep me on track, I think! I shall plan for this. Can I ask a really stupid question? Where are the filters on the washing machine??? Off to liquidise my soup and stack the dishwasher xx

    Evening all!

    Welcome to the many newbies.

I've been very busy this weekend. I decided I couldn't stand my manky old kitchen cupboards any more, so I tore off the handles, re-painted them (two coats so far, one/two to go) and I'll be replaceing the handles with a pack of half price ones from argos (£4.99 for 10!). We have some flooring in the "futility room" that's been waiting to go in for over a year, so we'll put that down too and it should look a little better. Am now knackered though!

All of my paint preparation has once again shown me the beauty of sugar soap though. I forgot just how good that stuff was. Shame it's so dodgy.

Will be trying as best as I can to keep up with the list this week. Much as I love my baby, I got a heck of a lot more done when I was pregnant. I still remember the day I went into labour - I shook her out with all of the vacuuming! My house was spotless. Big sigh.

Will catch up with you all tomorrow. Hugs and good vibes to all of you x
  • kaz and lil-me, please don't worry too much about me - and please don't burn my list as i might seriously have a breakdown without it. WINK!

DH is doing all of the decorating, i stick to lighter tasks like ironing and putting things back when he finshes. Work is all me i am afraid, but the student teacher is taking 2 of my classes from as soon after the 28th when he starts as possible. That will free 5 hours a week of sitting in front of a class, and then all the extra planning and marking time, so that should make a difference.

I promise i am mainly pottering, and if DS would let me have a lie in now and again, then i may actually shock horror feel somewhere like human, anyway, fudged together some lesson plans for tomorrow, i am now going to get the clothes out for tomorrow and have a bath. Was going to wash my hair, but if i bend over in the bath to do that i may be sick after that roast and pudding.

DH has washed up, plated me a lunch up for tomorrow, and is now chilling - well deserved i feel.

    see you all tomorrow.
    Michelle, x

oh, and DH just sold my car to his mate, so another thing gone off the list already - see so not that bad
