All uniforms ready for the morning, school bags cleaned out. Good job too as DD has a letter home for a meeting with the teacher tomorrow and she never said a word about it.

Right hopefully an early start tomorrow, so bed for me.
    Night everyone.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

At last :D I'm starting to see it pay off...Instead of having a drive full of rubbish for the dustmen and still being overwhelmed with 'stuff' I'm gradually finding I'm not drowning in it quite so much.
Its even inspired me to finish off the decorating which I started um...a while ago :o
Even though things have been as hectic as usual I'm managing to keep up with things as theres getting less and less to do because of the lack of clutter :j
    Thankyou flyladies :D:D

    I went to the pictures! Omg it was more than scary! I, Legend or something. I had my hands over my eyes from the beginning and my friend said it wasn't scary! Saying that, she was more scared than I was. It was very good. Ok, i've made a headstart;

Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things!
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Two
    Clean floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills
Dust any other dining room furniture, check for cobwebs on the way round
    Level Three
Wipe & replace small appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards
Check those washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiled areas
    • Clean the inside of cupboard doors
    • Clean microwave inside and out
    • Clean one cupboard out, what is that in there? anything out of date? Sort through it and clean it before putting everything back
    • Take mog to the vet!
Not much but i'm getting there. Right, i'm going to try and sleep if the vampires don't get me. Where are the cloves of garlic!!! I am seriously going to have bad dreams.

Oh yes, and this would have been headline news a few months ago. My in-laws are coming to stay nearby at Easter and my house is tidy so i'm not panicing. How cool is that! I've just got to stay on plan till Easter.

    Night night xx

Right, DW loaded, kids breakfasts out ready (just need milk and to toast a teacake) I feel all organised for a change :rotfl: bother I haven't put the bin out, I'll do it in the morning as it's recycle box day aswell......not dashing out in my pjs :o

Would like to wish little A and torianut a very happy birthday for tomorrow. I really hope you both have a wonderful day. Ok so maybe a wonderful week for little A with all she has planned, one very busy little girl.

Suppose I should go to bed, got to wake DP up because he's asleep on the sofa snoring his head off, if he just keeps mumbling at me when I say to get up I think I'll just leave him there....
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi all am back in this week, hope you all had a good weekend, have only just caught up on the last thread - wot you like pigpen making it up to 1000 posts!! and well done you on getting rid of the videos, wish we could do that too - we have quite a few, plus 2 boxes of my Dads (but Im giving them to my bro) - Im just reading a decluttering thread from last year and reading your posts about getting rid of your maternity clothes and moses baskets! ( And lilme, Ive just read a thread about you selling a hand held games console on ebay after it had been down the toilet - yuck!!!!!!!)
Anyways, Tia, that top is gorgeous, well done you for buying something for yourself (go and get the shoes too!!!!)
LJD1 - hows that eye now, those transformers toys are lethal - DH took ours off DS when he saw how they shot across the room (meanie!!)
Lil me - glad you enjoyed the chinese - I love your new system for putting everything in the wrong place, thatll keep people on their toes!!
Well, fortunately I have got over my grumps a bit, and feel a bit more on an even keel - as someone said, it will all be worth it, and I just have to keep sight of that, I just feel a bit mean that I cant stay in control with DH and DS cos although they understand, they really dont deserve it when I fly off the handle!!! Still first scan on Wednesday, so hopefully I will see all these little eggies growing nicely - hopefully at least 4/5 again.
I have decided definately not to help out in school until all this is over, I cant guarantee that I can be okay, and its not fair on the kiddies, so I have an unexpected afternoon tomorrow, so after I have done a bit of kitchen, I shall dive back into my clutter and get some more out of this house!

    Night all - Lilo
