Whoops :embarasse Just re-read your post & you've thought about horses! You might be better off word of mouth though - local stables? Animal sanctuary?0

Hi, I just registered fairly hastily and haven't filled out any profile details yet.
I'm in a bit of a rush right now, but google 'CR4'. Then locate a thread titled 'Bath Breaking Technique'. If lost look up posts by User member 'Kris'. If you have any trouble finding it, I'll try and get back with a direct hyperlink within 24 hours. Hope it helps.0 -
Another thought - could you not make a feature of it in your garden? It would make a great planter. Could be a riot of colour in the summer. You could use trellis and ivy etc to disguise the outside. Either above ground and disguised a bit or dig a BIG hole and lower it and then plant it up.
I just hate smashing anything up which could be useful!0 -
I left mine outside, 2days later i had a knock at the door asking if they (scrappies) could have it. My bro put his outside his house. Went in car to get some fish and chips and by the time he got back home it was gone.
Also i had a go at smashing it up...very difficult with a sledgehammer and also very deafening (for both me and my neighbours)Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
I beg to differ. A sledge is by far the easiest way if you want to break the thing up.
Disconnect all pipes, fill with old cushions. Drag clear from the wall, and cover most of it with carpet to prevent 'fly-off'. A 10 Lb sledge on an exposed part of the side will get you started, then just work your way around it. 20 minutes should do it. The noise was no problem, though I did sweat a bit.

Forgot to add that mine was Allied Vogue as well, and I'm still not sure if it's steel or cast iron. I suspect the former since it's pieces are rusting nicely in the garden (No skip until I have enough junk)0
