It's not worth anything apart from scrap.
As has been said before, get a ragbone man to remove it. He may even break it up for you.
I have removed one whole with one other person and we knew it was heavy.
I weighed it in for around £5 in 2005 (scrap yard just up the road). It weighed about 140kg! That is just under 6 bags of cement.
Since then I did replace one for a client who had an allotment and mentioned that he would like to keep the old one for collecting water in his allotment.
"Fine" I said "provided you would help me get it down your narrow stairs and out the door, bearing in mind it probably weighs around 150kilos"
"Nah, just break it up, I'll get an old fibreglass one for the allotment" was his reply.
It broke up into the 2 ends and two bags of shards, each weighing around 40kilos. It was hard enough to get those down the stairs!
A friend of mine who does bathrooms etc came across one that needed to be taken out, and got it out of the bathroom himself thinking he could sell it on ebay.
He found one like it on e bay - unsold at £20!Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
ive been looking on ebay/ other places and no coloured baths have any offers on at the moment! because its in my garden - and I just want rid (neighbours offer 'helpful' suggestions about turning it into a garden feature/pond! but they dont want it themselves.... how do i find a rag bone man?0

Find your nearest scrap yard and ask them.
It's unlikely that they will be interested in coming out to collect it. However they may know someone who will.
Alternitively, reoffer it on freecycle as scrap. It would weigh in for around £6 and may appeal to someone who is taking scrap to be weighed in, and could call in on their way.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
If you do smash it up as well as the precautions already outlined use a sledgehammer and wear jeans and decent boots cos when bits fall on your toes or scrape down your shins it really hurts!!Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0

Thanks for all the help on this - the bath is still there at the moment but hoping to shift it shortly! Probably list on freecycle first0

 we have the same bath:eek:
and love it
we looked around about 5 yrs ago for a new bathroom suit
we ended up buying a vanity sink (it fits into a worktop)
we had to get it made for us in the same colour
the sink/taps cost more than a whole new bathroom would
but it looks lovely.......
you should add pictures l am sure somebody on freecycle/freeshare would love it0 -
we smashed ours up as only way to get it out of the bathroom and put it in the skip and then it was taken by someone so if you get a skip make sure you can find other things to put into it as well lolThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
I put ours in the front garden and somebody pinched it

Horseowners/stables would love it I'm sure! We have a big old bath for our horses to drink from and it's great. Have to give it a good old scrub out every so often as it goes a bit green, but I'm sure somebody with a horse (or donkey or goats) would love it.
Or, as someone else said, leave it outside & i betcha it's gone by morning! Scrap is fetching very high prices at the moment.0
