Well they had a few left in Galashiels (Scottish Borders) called the shop and had one reserved and now back home with it to hack the region code

Not a bad deal really as it is almost at the same price point as my usual US prices

First impressions are not too bad although I could not see any change in the brightness when I attempted to adjust it.

It playes region free (backup) DVD's out of the box anyway

Well that's it region free - worked just per the hack listed earlier - watching Sopranos boxed set as I type

The player is for my younger brother and I'm sure he will be very pleased with it

Just rung round and managed to get one at great bridge west midlands, they had just had a new delivery but was still £59.99.

Picked mine up in Warrington in the Kwicky they still have 6 left.

Reserved one at my Kwiksave today over the phone. I went to get it after work, and all they had got was an empty box. Very disappointing. The box scanned at £60. Don't know what happened to the inside.

I bought 2 players today @ £59.99 each from Somerfields in Drumchapel evan though the offer should have finished on the 30th of June. Don't know if it was luck or the offer has been extended !!!!

It's worth ringing around - I got two today for ......................wait for it £49.99 - they still had some left. Apparently next week they've got a Medion digital mini DV tape camcorder for £100 instead of £200.
