Hi, My son had one of those Dvd Players and it was faulty. After a few weeks when you open the Dvd player to watch the screen the picture would go all funny. Called Medion and they told me they were having a few problems with these. Returned player and still waiting for replacement 7 weeks on. Maybe we are just unlucky but i would be very careful. Good thing is it carries a 2 years warranty.

I bought one from Kwik Save a while ago for £99.99 and thought it looked ok until I connected the battery to it by which time it looked too chunky for my liking (Bit like comparing a 7 year old laptop to a current model one)
I ended up returning mine and bought a Philips PET700 for £149.99 reduced from £200 (Currently on offer at Argos for the same price)
For £60 though you can't really go wrong but if like me,you've got more money than sense ;) the Philips comes highly recommended (Wide screen 7in with virtual surround sound!!!) :D

Does it have a lead that allows it to be fitted to the Car cigar lighter?

    Hi Everyone.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago from the Somerfield in Longridge, Nr Preston for 99 quid. It's fantastic, it came with the carry case/remote control/in car adaptor etc. which means it keeps the kids quiet on a long journey !!!

I think it was a good deal for £99, so at 59 quid, it's superb.

Thanks for your posting Gold1e I managed to get myself one at lunchtime from my local Somerfield store in Wallsend.
This is a great bit of kit. We got our little girl one for Christmas from Toys’R’Us last year and she loves it. It cost £150 at the time, so £60 is an absolute bargain. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bit bulky compared to the latest models, because it comes in a nice carry/car case, c/w everything else you need to watch it in the car, and it plays everything you throw at it – CDs, DVD copies, MP3s.

    Thanks for the replies:).
The thing i like most about it is the AV in you can use it with your ps2 etc.As for it being bulky maybe a little but when its in the car it makes no odds.pic
