Having now listened to it, I can see why it was short notice yes!MSE_Martin wrote:Next friday is the big one again
Aha, caught youIn that case please can you or Andrea add a message to the other thread, so that people subscribed to it will be alerted! At the moment there are no future appearances listed...
Thanks in advance.
[edit - I've just stumbled across MoneyBox live on Monday too. All it needs is for the person adding to the calendar to add to the Appearances thread at the same time - that way we can get email alerts]0 -
We heardyou for the first time today with Jeremy Vine, you did very well and got an awful lot of information in a very short time, particularly the minute bit. Whilst you were on the radio, we always watch Working Lunch each day on BBC2, so had to record it today, we were interested to hear about trusts and inheritance tax, and very important to us as pensioners, having to provide money from your home if you need to go into a care home.
Apparently any trusts, etc, set up to avoid paying these fees can soon be changed in retrospect, also if you give your property to your children, you can be asked did you ever own a house, this has made us feel quite miserable today, could you do a piece on Radio 2 about this, there are thousands of us out here wondering and worrying! Thank you.Cheers oap0 -
Looking forward to the BBC3 News tonight. What are you talking about Martin?0
-
It was under the premise of this story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4396253.stm
But Martin is very good at cramming in as much basic advice as possible in a short time, so that was just a "starter for ten" really.
Please could we have "Consumer Credit Counselling Service, Citizen's Advice and National Debtline" in a different order next time, or perhaps use a different three fingers on your hand? You're getting too predictable
Phillip Cullum (the other guest) didn't really get a look-in but that's his problem!
Many thanks to Andrea for adding the message to the other thread, which triggered an email alert to me as I'm subbed to that thread. It all worked!0 -

If you decide later that you no longer want to receive replies to that particular thread, click on the unsubscribe link in the notification email.
It's a really handy facility.
To change your preferences, open your User Control Panel, ('User CP' - above),
select 'Edit Options', then scroll down to 'Default subscription mode', where you can choose how you wish to be notified, if at all.
Hope this helps.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

It's in the "Thread Tools" at the top of each thread. Useful for read-only threads which you can't post to. (As mentioned, you can set your options to auto-subscribe you to threads that you add posts to)
