Advice on a quality waterproof mattress protector

india

Can anyone recommend a good waterproof mattress protector. I need 1 single and 1 double?
I spent alot of money on one from roseby's and it let the water through then fell apart.
My son is a bed wetter and I need one that won't let any urine through.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same as above, my dd has started to wet the bed more and more sice we had our son! But ive washed the boots one so many times and its still as good as new. I have two of them and they really are good.0

I got mine on eBay for about £2 each (elasticated corners ones). Probably not as thick as the Boots ones but they work - very happy with them. :jThey deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Keys of Clacton sell these, they start from £9.25 and there is 3 different types.

I have these ones from the link above!
I love them. they wash well, absorb everything so kids don't lie in damp sheets all night if they don't wake up and you don't get that horrid sweaty effect of sleeping on a bed with a rubber sheet.
I didn't realise they were so expensive though, I was given the two I have as a thank you from a hotel owner.
Deffinatly worth it though I have had mine for 4 years.0 -
In defence of Roseby's, most of what I've had from there has been mattress protectors rather than waterproof undersheets, and they've been fine. Was it sold as waterproof? If it was, take it back!Signature removed for peace of mind0

I can highly recommend these. They are not plasticky at all, in fact they are soft and padded. They are machine washable and tumble dryable. They are placed over the bottom sheet allowing them to be whipped away of they do wet the bed with minimum disturbance.0 -
Don't laugh but I use Ikea shower curtains, the fabric sort rather than the plastic roughly £2 each. The kids don't sweat on them because they are rubbery rather than plasticy and also machine washable. If you get 2 for each bed then you can make the bed twice by that I mean shower curtain, bottom sheet, shower curtain, bottom sheet. That way if you have a 2am accident its simply a case of stripping off the top layer of bedding and you have a ready made dry bed.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
