    Hi folks,
Thanks for the advice on the John Lewis vouchers and their use online. I am saving up for a Pure Sonus 1XT talking radio from John Lewis @100quid (maybe 20quid discount code as can be used as well). I am registered blind am hence slowly buying up stuff that will be helpful to me. As I can no longer see my alarm clock LED display for the time I now need a nice soothing talking clock ( the handle acts as a button to speak the time!!) along with a radio to play radio 4 along with late nite talksport!!!
Can u use multiple John Lewis vouchers from PB?? Just I do not have alot of money as I do not work these days (THE SHAME!!) .
Extra help appreciated (PM me...... yeap I am on both knees!).
    Thanks in advance
    Jools

    PB total so far 3.40!!!!

vouchers are like money so you can use as many as you like.. ive use loads of vouchers in one go.. makes buying stuff a pleasure when its technically free
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

Have you spoken to RNIB or Social Services re equipment for the blind. When my mother lost her sight she was given a talking watch, a clock and the use of the machine for Talking Books. She also had a little gadget 'rain alert' that went off to let her know it was raining in order to get the washing in from the garden.

    hi there,
Yeah been in touch with the RNIB etc in the past. I already have obtained some stuff like Talking Books and Newpapers etc. Alot of stuff you have to buy or get from the govenrment (if you are working catch 22!!). Alot of the stuff is not very cool looking and the Pure Sonus 1XT is one of the feew deices for the blind that has a "cool" design. (Just to u cynics ... I still have a little vision left so visual appeal still has some value to me!!!)

Yep, the tick box has disappeared today. I checked my tick box was correct yesterday 'cos its my bday today, and it was there. Gone in today and the box isn't anywhere to be seen.

I emailed PB on Sunday because you can subscribe to the Birthday Email but cannot put in a DoB.

They replied on Monday saying that they are looking into it.

I will post reply when I get it
