Have to say yes the specs beats the iPhone but have either of you two tired out the iPhone yourselves? One of my friends has it and I've been lucky enough to have quite an extended play with it. Usability on the iPhone is much much better than the LG Viewty from my experience.
The navigation of the menus on the iPhone is much more explicit in a "straight out of the box" kind of way and the responsiveness of the touch screen on the LG Viewty is nothing like that on the iPhone. Somtimes with the LG I feel as if I am going to push my finger right through the screen it is that difficult at times to get a response.
Saying all that, I am hoping just for a replacement phone when I take mine back to CPW rather than having to go for a whole new handset of a different model purely in my opinion as the camera is he best I have ever had on a phone and that is quite important to me.
I think you may have a problem with your handset, i work in IT and so use mine all the time for work manking and reciving calls, updating appointmants, sending messeges, surfing the web, and i charge mine about once every three days??
Yes i have had a day playing with the iphone on release week, and i totaly agree with you say, i just works perfectly.. everything is smooth and quick, feels nice and looks like a work of art, I will get a iphone when they relase mark 2 later this year, that should have a better camera, the ablity to send and recive photo messeges, and have 3g.... fingers crossed, however till then the LG is the only contender at the moment and ticks all the boxes for me.0
