£250 food (2 adults, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs)
£300 rent (can I say this?)
£50 Transport (bus into work everyday)
£50 clothing (office clothes)
£11 t.v license
£29 Pet insurance for 2 dogs
£42 Council tax (for my share)
£50 Gas/Electric (for my share)
£30 Holiday savings
£30 Mobile Phone
£8 Prescriptions
£15 Dental
£10 Dry Cleaning
£20 Dog Care (Food)
£10 Hairdressing
My income will be 15k, so I would like to try and get it to cover that if possible, and I won't be paying tax for the first year either, so that will mean my income is higher.
Also, it is a professional office job, so I will need good clothing, suits, blouses etc.. is £50 enough or could I claim more?
Sorry for all the questions..

You may have to fight your corner for that amount on clothing and prove your need. If your prepared to do that then fine. Aim high, but let the Or beat you down. If you disagree with the decision then you can appeal. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

Yeah, well I thought if I exaggerated stuff them he might let me off, he is a nice OR, so i'm hoping he won't put up much of a fight..

I am thinking if you add maintenance/repairs you are going into BI territory, sorry.
What have you told the OR about your living situation? Can you be renting a room at the house not living with your partner.
GG it might be worth a quick pm to debt doctor to look at this thread.
EDIT: Usual on clothes is £3-5 a week if I remember rightly. Will try to check for you.
DOUBLE EDIT: HK is food. Sorry that's how it's usually termed.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
You could always turn up at a face to face Or interview as 'Jane' did and not wear any undies..he'd think your sooo skint he'd have to allow you a huge clothing allowance:pThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. Thats true Tiger, a Pm to DD would be a good idea.
Also G-G, don't try too hard to have your outgoings equal to your incomings..it tends to arouse the ORs suspicion. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. What is BI?
The OR has been to my house to collect documents, so he knows I live with my OH.. I have put on my bankruptcy forms that I pay no money towards the house because I didn't before, but to be honest I didn't have a job before and it's got to the point where I need to contribute to the house as OH debts are not being paid off and he is getting charged a lot of interest..
He keeps saying how busy they are and i'm hoping he will not really be bothered about chasing me for an IPA.. wishful thinking I know..

G G would you need the internet to help with your new job? There is also a firm that does study courses for free, can't remember the name right now but someone will. Can you sign up on one of these so you are studying so need the internet?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
