Thanks everyone. My 'wonderful' DD got me up at 4.30 am this morning     I sent her back to bed and she then proceeded to have a huge tantrum that resulted in waking the entire house. Once Ryan is up then that is it so I have been awae since 4.30am. I am exhausted but today I'll pack some more stuff and tidy some more things I suppose. I sent her back to bed and told her she was not to get out of bed until 7.00 and I can here her moving around outside. She told me that her clock was not working properly as the time was going too slow!!
Sooooo, now I have to ask some help. I need to get some crpets and am not sure what colour to get as I am useless at this kind of thing.DD wants a pink room, Ryan wants a blue room, we'll probably have chocolate/mocha/duck egg blue in blocks or something.... but I need to carpet the rooms, stairs and landing so should I just do one colour all though and if so what colour, or should I do seperate colours??? Hmmmm..... anyone got any ideas? We are going for laminate all the way through downstairs and found it cheap on wickes website. Just have to measure up and I can order it. One of my relativesfits carpets but I just need to know what colours now. And helpful ideas please

Whatever colour you decide on Bm, I would have it all through the house as it gives the appearance of continuity and space - personally I would go for a neutral colour so that if you decide to change your decor the flooring will always match. Why not choose something along the lines of your wood flooring? Like a neutral beige/stone colour, bearing in mind the kids of course:rotfl:
When I was working in showhomes we always had one neutral colour throughout and it does work - if you go for different colours in each room it gives that 'chopped off' look.Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
