Well as you got in and I had a problem with IE/ASDA yesterday too it must have been the ASDA site - just a lil blip... all sorted .. :beer:
I have set my IE to show messages - just for my amusement

I have now put asda into the trusted sites but still cannot go directly to the asda site. What a nightmare, whats going on.If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.0

....................................Firstly I would never recommend someone else to do a system restore telling them it will have no affect on their data, as system restore is not 100% safe.
Anyway....
Could you try accessing the site in another web browser and see if that works? Then we will know if it is your browser or for some reason your connection at fault.
System restore according to Microsoft does NOT affect user data. I have done this several times and used it for tech support.System restore ,restores the system registry to previous state.0
