It should be fine, and you shouldnt have to add anything to it, i used batter i had from the following day last week, i just whisked it up and the pancakes were fine!!!!0
-
I have never tried it with a packet mix, but I've often left home made pancake mixes in the fridge overnight and they've been fine to use the next day.

I'll give it a go then! It seemed a waste to make 12 yorkshire puddings last night with the mix just for the two of us!!!!!

My niece can and does eat 12 yorkshire puddings in one go. She weighs all of 7 stone.0

I always make my batter mix the day before and leave it overnight in the fridge, so it should be absolutely fine to use0

oohhh.......I could definitely eat 12 yorkshire puddings in one go (I confess, I had 4 of the 6 I made!!!)......but unfortunately as I'm already extremely overweight, I'm now paying for all the extra yorkshire puddings I've eaten over the years!!

Hi - why not make the extra yorkshire puddings a freeze them? I do. There's only two of us and I normally make one big one of which we eat a quarter and the other three quarters are divided and go into the freezer. Then just warm them through for five mins from frozen in the oven. If it's good enough for Aunt Bessie, it's good enough for me!0

It should be *better* the next day.
Yorkshire pudding batter and English pancake batter are the same mix. Yorkshire Pudding batter should *always* be made in advance and left to "rest" - something to do with the flour needing to relax (James Martin explained it once on a TV programme but I wasn't listening properly ... he was only telling me what I already knew from my Yorkshire mother anyway :rotfl: )
Cooked pancakes and cooked Yorkshire puddings are both freezeable anyway~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Agree with Queenie - funny that:j
That the batter mix should be better for having been rested. Just give it a good beating
I completely forgot about pancakes last night ..... sorry, I'll leave nowMy only excuse is that we were only back from holiday on Monday afternoon. But I'll make some tonight. My OH will "need" them as I'm doing a meat-free meal tonight and he'll think his throat has been cut, so he'll want even more food :rotfl: :rotfl:
Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Or, in true good ole fashioned Yorkshire tradition, yorkie puddings should be eaten for both starter and dessert with a meal
Starter - hot yorkshire pudding with beef gravy
Dessert (or pudding should I say) - cold yorkshire pudding with jam (or maple syrup  )
