Stocking fillers for teenage boys

Just to show how mature teenagers are, I'm also looking for some spongebob squarepants items such as soap or bubblebath! In our house he's a cult figure :P
As is the simpsons in our house, MIL bought a box of 12 Simpson figures for Hubby to go on his computer (yes he is the youngest of the three) which would be perfect for stockings, on the back they showed they do keyrings and those window sucker things and picture frames, I asked where she got it from and she said 'a bike shop in Romford' sorry I can't be more specific than that!Waddle you do eh?0 -
I've had the opposite problem to Savvy Sue - all our presents have been under the tree, but last year at Nursery little boy got told about stocking by his bed - He announced it on xmas eve!!!! and wanted one, so we did it and in early hours of xmas morning when he woke up and we were doing our best to say no it's still the middle of the night -he put his hand into the stocking and discovered presents and then he were all awake from 4am!!!!!!0

We were always up VERY early on Christmas Day, but after a while Mum put our sacks (pillowcases) downstairs and we were allowed to creep down and create mayhem without waking them up too early. Mind you, the one who couldn't wait till Boxing Day for her presents was always desperate to have the rest of the presents as soon as everyone was up.
Mercifully our kids have never been terrifically early rousers - I think they learned quite soon that Mummy wasn't an especially nice person to know before 7 am ;D - and although getting them to sleep on Christmas Eve has always been a problem we've never had a 'crack of dawn' disturbance on Christmas Day itself.
Greenstuff, you did have a deprived childhood. I do actually quite enjoy the challenge of the stockings when I'm in the right mood, and I certainly like thinking of different messages to leave for the youngest. Last year's message from Rudolph was written on the computer, then I turned it into a funny font which was all symbols. Of course Santa had to write an interpretation. I am always doing this kind of thing at 1 am of course ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I don't know what I did right, but I really never was very friendly early in the morning (still aren't) so there was no encouragement. With the eldest, when he was about 2, we used to strew jigsaw puzzles across his bedroom doorway: his tidy mind couldn't cope with this and had to do the puzzles before coming to wake us. Unfortunately that tidy mind can now accommodate a rather hazardous amount of paper on his bedroom floor: I don't know how he gets in and out!
Back on topic: if you have a Just Beauty near you it is worth strolling around there as they often have bargains. Last year I got 'pen torches', good ones from Duracell, for a good price and they had free AA batteries with them.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Lakeland plastics, they also have a shop in Bluewater, last year I got soaps that are goldfish in a bag, they are really groovy, they also do little puzzles and travel game sets.
Hubby says photon lights, those little keyring ones that have a really powerful beam, aparantly he's seen them in pound shops.Waddle you do eh?0 -
