    Just noticed that the flights I booked direct with delta at £169 re showing up as £280on expedia :eek:

    i managed to get a hotel room a couple of years ago for £60 anight a couple of blocks from the empire state biulding, the only problem was there was bullet holes in the door and it was a bit scanky!:eek:

    Bleeding kids - if only we didn't have the little so and sos we could have fantastic holidays! These prices are great - grab them while you can :(

    Amazing spot - was just about to book but the prices have shot up :mad: Shows £166 on Kayak then 260+ on ebookers/cheaptickets.

    My other half is not so pleased that I have seen this.....It's not the flights or the accomodation which strikes fear into the barclaycard, it's the SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My tip, although not the cheapest, is to stay on New Jersey and bus into Manhatten - buses are really frequent and cheap and safe enough. A lot quieter and less bustle at the end of a long days shopping/sightseeing.
    It aint over til I've done singing....
