Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Were the available seats completely useless when you booked? I've reserved a seat, but I'm going to call them closer to the time to see if I can get legroom (I always have legroom!).

If you look out for a woman wrapped in a big pink pashmina, moaning that they have forgotten her vegetarian meal, tripping people up in the aisles, and ever so slightly dribbling when asleep ... that'll be me! x
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Hi

What dates have people booked for Feb half term from Manchester. When I look the prices are more expensive than people have put on here.

In Feb half term there is Westminster (Top American Dog Show) on at Maddison Square Gardens which I would love to attend.

    http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/

So would be grateful for any pointers.

    Cheers

wow these are really good prices - will Delta definately honour them or are they still saying its a glich?
I just selected the 'refundable' option when i was looking at diff dates and departures and instead of £263 quoted non refundable, it came up with £871 for the roundtrip!... i really want to book but dont want to end up with non-refundable tickets and at a rate Delta then decide when they sort out the 'glich'!

does anyone know of any "cheap" but not cheap hotels in nyc? nothing crap... but nothing where you're likely to get shot for having more than a fiver and a fake rolex?

We stayed at the Eastgate Tower hotel (http://www.affinia.com) last March.
Had an ace time. The room was well worn, but the size of it was huge, it even had a kitchen! Did a quick search and for end of march the room we had is coming up for about $250 a night (£125ish).

We took our then 18 month old and wanted a large space for her to run about and the kitchen meant that at 3am when she woke up we could get her food without being shot/stabbed/robbed

The area was fine (no Queens thats for sure) - about 10 minutes walk to the subway (which was Grand Central Terminal) and the staff are super helpful.

Really nice Italian resturant next door that when you look at it you think "not child friendly" but they were lovely....a bit like Rocky's in Rocky Balboa, but with less boxers :rotfl:

We would stay there again, and thanks to the Delta link, it might be in a few months!!!

They can't make you pay a higher price. If they decide for whatever reason that the originally agreed price was wrong, your purchase will be cancelled unless you agree to pay the "true" price.
