well decided to email the local paper with our story, thinking they probably wont be interested but have had an email to contact them. some more ammo to through at boots, plus warn others about the s**m that are around here at the moment.

another thing is why do boots no have signature delivery for goods over £40.00, just before christmas i ordered some half price christmas crackers totalling £5.00, plus the del charge, had to go to collect these as i was out, but say i ordered a £100.00 camera they can leave that in my shed?

really does not make sense.

also just went onto the boots website they have added a few more things, one bargain is the teletubby big hug po £6.2something great bargain shame i got one for my little boys christmas pressie.

be quick they wont last long.

boots did the same too all my xmas presents in november 2006(left them in my back garden.)even after i was told someone would have to sign for them all toys were stolen out of back garden
they were worth over £500
boots did return my money 14 days later

you would think they would learnned there lesson

just had my toys from 75% sale too find a box with my name address on it but its not mine (got my toys aswell)

well the orders that were stolen were roughly £100.00 to me, but it shows how much it would cost me to replace the items lost. this really has got my goat up, i am still awaiting some orders so i do not know what i will say if i get the same delivery man. probably something like "why dont you tell my kids why they have not got there easter and birthday pressies". it was also the rudeness of the amtrak guy my husband spoke to on saturday he even swore at my husband which i dont think is on. still it was something i didnt have and still dont. but when i read how many people have been let down and messed about it makes me want to fight.

Boots use the "non pod" delivery system as its simply the cheapest. In return they offer free delivery. It does say if you order high value items or medicines that a signature is needed.

Boots rely on their couriers to deliver safely the same as other companies do. I would imagine they are getting a good service from the courier (number of complaints vs successful deliveries) otherwise they would simply switch couriers as its a competitive market.

i must admit that people have had problems with "hdn" which i have not had a problem with as they always ask for signature or deliver to next door.

when we went around the neighbours friday nite they tell me they are in the midst of starting up a neighbour hood watch. typical.

Order no. 2 delivered safe and sound. I'm very pleased with the Stephanie LazyTown dressing up sets. The granddaughters are going to love them.

i got 3 quarters of my order today,so the rest should come tommorow,although the simpsons bowling alleys set diddnt come but what did come was a bloomin dora the explorer one which my 11 year old wont be quite so happy with lol,so ive sent them an email,i do hope the rest of my order comes,all the boots stuff had to be signed for too.
