Check the vouchers/coupons section of the Bargain Buys Forum, people post here if a particular magazine/newspaper has a higher voucher worth than its price - i.e. like the Times newspaper yesterday had £4.80 worth of vouchers for 55p. Then people work out which ones their local supermarket will accept and "stock" up depending on the expiry date and how many they think they can use.

Failing that, good old eBay - I bought £20 worth of tropicana vouchers for £10 as I know my local store will accept them all off my shop :D

It's a tough one really isn't it - these people are the ones that steal them so that none of us get them in our local papers etc, however I understand why people buy them when they can save so much
  • I suppose its difficult to set a standard for all this because the terms and conditions of coupons state that the product must be purchased. They wouldn't really want to be standing in direct violation of their suppliers really? I dunno, I suppose if Asda, Sainsbury's, tesco said, fine we won't stock your products anymore that could be more than a little harmful to them...

I'm off to Minehead in a week or two can anyone give me some local knowledge on the kind of reception I will receive in the supermarkets when I turn up with my wad of coupons?
