Perhaps changing the cereals to something more up-market, like a nice muesli, or Special K for example, might have an impact?'Never keep up with Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.' Quentin Crisp0 -
It looks like it's good news guys. I had a couple who viewed on Saturday that are wanting a second look tomorrow, EA said they love the house and want to bring their parents round. They are first time buyers so fingers crossed it might all work out fine.
I have a lady coming round at lunch time to view too, so it it looking very promising. I don't know what has happened over the last week, but it looks like things are finally moving!0 -

The housing market is all over the place at the moment, I'm an EA and we had a total of six viewings out on Thursday & Friday, but 28 on Saturday. No rhyme or reason to it, we had the same number of viewings the previous Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
Good luck with your viewings.0 -

Isn't it always busier on Saturdays?

If things with these viewings fall through, I'd push the "potential to extend".
You could get some extension plans drawn up if you have a bit of money to spare, or have quite a lot of time to do your own. Your house will become more appealing if people know that they can extend rather than "might be able to extend". Submit the plans (costs of submission vary I believe) and ask your council's planning dept for help all the way...they offer great advice for free.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Things are getting better now. before christmas it was quiet but I sold my place over the weekend to a ftb so good luck. My only advice is be prepared to negotiate/drop a little on the price if necessary to get the sale - I dropped 7% which I think is fair in the currrent market.0

Hi Everyone, just a quick update to let you all know I have sold. Had another couple of viewings since the other day and both made offers. I have decided to go with the FTBs that have been back a couple of times as I think it will be less hassle and I can get moved quicker.
I did drop the price by £8000, but I can still afford my new place at that so everyone is happy!0 -
Well done - a sensible reduction of around 6.5% which interestingly is only 1/2 % differant to the discount we gave on our house. I hope everything goes well - if i were you I would be prepared to go to rented or anything for the short term to keep the chain as short as possible to smooth the process.0
