Just checked my inbox again and 2 more wanteds for a laptop and reading the persons name ive had a look in my deleted mailbox ive just noticed that this one person has posted wanted adds for a laptop every other day this week.

Now maybe they arn't policing it heavily but im sure this should have been picked up on.

I feel the same as you Cardew with the whole 'save items from landfill' being quoted all the time but when you get people posting

"ive just bought a car and am in need of a car seat"

    its a little annoying.

This really is worth reporting to the mods! I only allow 2 wanteds per month on our group and no repeated wants more than 3 over a 3 months period.
A wii I would not allow! Someone did try though.
This person was probably trusted and the messages no longer checked/moderated. Report it to the group owner and ask if they can be moderated as quite frankly they are indeed taking the P! I wouldnt allow it.
My groups ratio of wanteds to offers is: 3 offers to one Wanted! It is working well indeed.

I am sort of struggling here...you see my mum died 2 years ago and I got all her stuff...the whole lot kit and kabuddle...I have given alot of her stuff eg: clothes to charity shops...and some ornaments...my son's friend was in need of a tv and digibox so he got them...next door neighbours daughter has just got the table and 4 chair's but there's also a biggish display cabinet come drinks cabinet that needs to go another tv and tv unit load's of curtains with tie-backs and net curtains but this is what I'm struggling with do I put them on freecycle or let them go else where...:D

Bear in mind that the charity shops reject half of it and chuck it out!

Occasionally, someone demonstrates sheer brilliance in putting a point accross in a discussion.

Today I have seen such an event!

    Well done - I really mean it. :T :T :T
I proved this last week. A lady who suffers continuous epilepsy thru the day requested a mobility scooter which had to stop if you let go of the handle. I was reluctant-an expensive item-however, I approved her request as I did feel for her!
The lady got one offered to her-just 12 months old and it has changed her life-so-as said-it was indeed a reasonable request!
