Switched from Plusnet to EE

EE will supply different kit with different tier plans. They can also supply WiFi extender devices with some guarantees of WiFi speeds. You will pay more for these extras. You can get these extras as part of some plans which are more expensive. As the OP was with Plusnet which doesn't have such extras or WiFi guarantees the EE plan they will have been moved to won't have them either. Therefore as long as the OP gets the contracted internet speed at the point it comes into their house EE are doing their bit.
In any case supplying your own WiFi kit will be better in the long run as then it can be used with whatever ISP you choose and you won't have to pay extra for these WiFi guarantees.

Different routers for the different speed packages they sell. The standard sub 900MB packages the lower spec routers
with 1GbE are fine.
But for speeds above that they give you the 7 Pro router with 2.5GbE ports capable of upto 2500MB.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
