And found 14 face masks - were marked on the shelf at £3.49, but went through at 59p (using my last 10% voucher), unfortunately only 100 points added and the SA seemed to think this was correct

Perhaps they have rejigged it to only allow 100 points per transaction rather than per item.

I got a 100 points med voucher today...woohey thought I.

Then I got some bags, went to the till...used 10% voucher...fine.

Then she scanned the points voucher, it beeped as if it had accepted it, then hadn't added them on at the end of the transaction. Booooooooooo. I queried it with SA and she said they'd obviously changed the tills when I told her that it had worked before.

Someone from head office has finally worked out why Boots are going bust!

so it doesn't give any points at all for the orchid bags? addy did it give you 100 points for the face mask costing 59p? i haven't got any ten percent vouchers or owt like that but if it's 100 points for each 66p mask it might be worth a jaunt to boots. my husband wants a digital camera, unfortunately he spent most of my orchid points on a shaver yesterday - doh! i'd rather buy the bags though, they were substantially cheaper lol!

My transaction was extremely confusing - I used lots and lots of vouchers, which they were happy to accept in the same transaction. As well as the Med one I had vouchers from the machine for extra points for transaction total, extra points for meal deal, extra points for 17 nails, as well as money-off (£5 off no7 & 1/3rd off 17) from the Mirror and the 1/3rd off they were handing out last week PLUS the 10% off from the Boots mag. The SA checked my receipt and concluded it hadn't given me both the total spend or the Med. points and there should only be one lot of Med points allowed, so to cut a short story long :rotfl:

........The till didn't seem to add any extra points at all for the Med. face masks so 100 were added manually. It may be possible to negotiate 100 per item if this happens, or do them in separate transactions (a PIA!!). As I'd used so many vouchers already, I didn't feel I could argue this point!!

Also got a Med. bathing treats bag (on the shelves at £10) from the clearance shelf - it had been ticketed at £2. The till took another 1/3rd off plus 10% from my voucher, so it somehow ended up costing me only £1.19 :j

My total transaction came to £19.99, so I got a £10 electrical voucher, I asked her if I could return £5 worth of masks for a refund, so I could keep the voucher and she was more than happy for me to do that.

Jellyhead-definitely no points at all for orchid bags in my Boots. it was the only thing I bought.

Thing is, their T+C don't say you have to spend more on a product than what you'll receive with the voucher. So I emailed Boots. Wonder what they'll say...

So is it worth having in your bag a previous receipt where the points were added on for bags?

Just been to Boots and it didn't work for me. Used 10% off so they were 27p each so I shall keep them as they are a bargin anyway!

Let us know if you get a reply from your e-mail to Boots, I was thinking of calling them.
