Boots Mediterranean Range 100 extra points [CLOSED]

i had to go in to get a prescription, antihistamines and some calpol. the 99p galpharm anti-H was on 3 for 2 - bargain :-) no vouchers worth using, still nothing on my husband's card even though he bought something and now has 4 points - woohoo! no intuition razors with vouchers on. i realised afterwards i should have bought boots own calpol because there was a 100 points voucher in the machine for that. ah well. this was great while it lasted.

the mailout said they started a £10 electrical beauty voucher today when you spend £15 but the poster in my boots said the voucher is for a third off cosmetics. has anyone had one, are they doing an electrical beauty one?

Ahhhh haaaaa! That would explain why I saw 12 bags this morning, 17 face masks, three machines but not one giving out the Med 100 points. Oh well good whilst it lasted.

Lancaster sun products have 500 points on them in the machine, the products aren't cheap, but they are reduced to half price, if you can get the self tan stuff its reduced to £4.18 with 500 points, not as good a bargain as been had over the last few weeks but a bargain none the less.

really annoyed, made special trip today, woke son up who then screamed round store, to find no vouchers available on the 1 working machine!! man on helpline other day said would be available till around the 12th. phoned today & they gave me 100 points which i suppose is better than nothing but if had voucher i could have got loads of facemasks! oh well.

Who did you phone to get your points added on?

I made a special trip back to Boots today and I didn't get a Med voucher so am pretty disappointed.

I did still buy a lovely smelling body butter though, as with a third off is still a good buy but getting a nice 100 points would have made it smell even sweeter, oh well.

The £10 electrical voucher promotion starts tomorrow. I just got the mailing leaflet out of the bin to check.

As i didnt spend any money in boots went to Tescos and bought 16 boxes of fitness with the £3 joey voucher on and bogof and paid with vouchers another £48 in vouchers with that purchase..............sweet

ti1980, I rang customer services (08450 70 80 90) last week because I'd bought 2 products that could be used with the £3 male grooming voucher and taken one back that happened to have had the £3 deducted. I got a right jobsworth who said I couldn't have a full refund, even though she could plainly see the other product on the receipt!! Then to add insult to injury she said I couldn't return it anyway as I didn't have my advantage card on me!! So I said I would be back with the other product aswell!

Was not impressed with her so decided to ring customer services who said that she should have just refunded the full amount, but it was up to that store's policy so they couldn't override that. But when I said I hadn't actually taken it back as didn't have my card on me, he said that they cannot refuse to give you a refund just because you don't have your advantage card on you and to try a different cashier when I went back!! He also gave me 500 points to make up for losing the £3 if they still wouldn't do it or "to treat myself" if I did get a full refund, which I thought was really sweet of him.

When I did go back, I explained it to another cashier who just said life's to short to worry about things like that and gave me a full refund without any trouble!

I would give it a go as I was just ringing to find out their policy for my case and did not expect any extra points. I would just say always be polite and calm, they are much more likely to help.

I work in a call centre and hate stroppy customers who come on and blame you for all their problems!
