I don't like the way they have gone about this, as they're turning off a service (even if only for 5 days) that the customer is paying for. Instead, they should just send the warnings until the entire PTSN service is switched off. Then they could claim that they warned the customers, and do the migration after.

They did warn the customer though and probably over a long period and multiple calls and letters. Sometimes you have to hold up your hands and say it's down to the customer just burying their heads in the sand.

It's probably berter to do it this way. If they waited & these people lost phone service at switchover it would lead to longer outages with no phone service as they'd need to wait on engineers
