So much information not sure which one I need to send, It's been couple years so proof might be lost but I was wrongly penalised! One my car didn't start I was in gym and it went over 2 hrs and other I was under 2 hours but forget to put the car reg in! No one helped.

So where so I go from here, just pay the £170 or fight it?

Fight it , by reading the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

As for powerless debt collectors letters, read post 4 too ( and ignore them. )

But if its from DCB LEGAL , not DCBL, respond with the LoC response template to their info@ email address

You mean this one? Word by word or add onto it?

    Dear Sirs,

    Your ref: [insert reference number]

    Proposed legal proceedings

Claimant: [insert name of parking company]

I refer to your letter of claim.

I confirm that my address for service for the time being is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:

    [Insert correct address here]

You should revert to your client because the 'propensity to pay' score in my case is zero, so any claim is hopeless and a waste of the court fee (whether 'fronted' by your firm or not). Move on to weaker victims.

The alleged 'debt' is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

    Yours faithfully,

Looks like your posts have been merged or a new thread created for you, so this thread is where you must come, when your court claim form arrives.

    No worries.

    No paying,

    Hi,

I have just received in the post that they are taking me to the court!

It's claim form, the fee increased to £280!

What am I supposed to do now?

Shall I post all the letters they have posted to me

Post a redacted picture of the claim form below after hiding the private and personal information, like the example picture below , the redactions are highlighted in the 4 red circles

Dont let that sum scare you. It's not really increased to £280 that's just a figure DCB LEGAL hope to get should they have the courage to take it to a hearing.
