Morning all xx
I was at the hairdresser's for 8.30 am yesterday. Then DS popped = one happy Round 🥰 I had a read a book afternoon and an NCIS: Hawaii evening. So today I ought to do something I spose. 🤔
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed the nyt puzzles, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. Plan today is to plod through the Saturdailies and Sundailies and set things straight for a new week.
Love to all

Belated happy birthday, Valli x. And thank you for all that you do to keep us in order. It must be like herding cats sometimes.
I hope you feel better soon, Iona, it must be so miserable struggling with migraines xYesterday was spent in the back garden, the green bin is nicely full for Tuesday’s collection. On Friday afternoon I was inexplicably motivated to give the LR, hall and stairs a good clean. Today is a blank canvas, mainly because the forecast was for rain. This has now changed to less than 1mm at some point later today. No good to man nor beast and definitely not for the garden. Today I need to meal plan, and to deal with beetroot, chard (destined for pesto and the freezer) and the bread dough that has been proving overnight. I may sneak in some knitting at some point as the current project is a Christmas present and therefore has a deadline.
Have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone. Belated happy birthday to Valli. Hope your migraine has now gone Iona.
I started on the raspberry canes yesterday and stopped when my back began to ache, but after walking Poppet this morning I've carried on and managed to get them cut before it started to rain. Still as always there is more to tidy in the garden but I've been really happy with it this year. Still harvesting tomatoes and cucumbers too.
Next today I'm bathing Poppet then I think I'll list some stuff online to sell. I've lost over two stone in weight and most of my clothes are now too big but I don't want to buy anything new until I reach my goal - one and a half stone to go - so online second hand is working very well.
Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Afternoon all. One load of washing done and hung outside until the forecast said rain in 14 minutes when I got it in and put it on the airer in front of the dehumidifier. Three hours later it has just started raining lightly. Windy too.
Roast dinner roasted and eaten, all cleared away. Wrapped a few more Christmas presents. I know, I know. But I hate doing it so I prefer to tackle a few at a time. One more lot to do which will be after Wednesday when the shopping has been delivered. Then I can ignore it until December.
Not much else done. No real cleaning apart from the clearing up after meals but it's not too bad. Hope everyone's OK x
