My shed is down! All 14ftx10ft of warped and falling-apart-ness is now neatly stacked in the corner of the garden waiting to be processed for firewood. I now have quite a large pile of things to take to the tip but that can be done in stages over the next week (first tip run booked for tomorrow) and on sweeping the paving slabs I noticed that a couple of them are a bit uneven on their sand base so I will need to sort that out. I discovered a bag of builders sand and a spirit level at the back of the garage so I’m all set to go. A really good job done today - I’d been dreading it for ages, but between us we got it all done in less than an hour!

I asked for a full MOT at the back end of last year @PennysIntoPounds. All came back normal apart from a fatty liver due to lack of exercise ….
In February I started with a remote coach who helped me massively - got my hydration sorted, improved my sleep and massively upped my protein. I was starting to get into training and feeling fitter and stronger when my shoulder issues started and everything stopped. I limped onto the end of the three months doing a bit and eventually joined a gym. Went a few times then the back to back heatwaves started and it was all I could do to go to work, cook and do the washing. EVERYTHING else fell away ….
I am now slowly getting back to it, by improving my eating (back on quinoa salad instead of frozen chips tonight for example), focusing on cortisol reduction, increased my steps and did the first home workout in months yesterday. I have pledged to myself that I go back to the gym this month or cancel my membership. I want to be back at twice a week through October as that is the break even point for paying monthly subs and not PAYG. Let’s see … I still need to lose 12cm from my waist for it to be half my height so I have a long way to go …Anyway, I have almost achieved something … 😊
The lid on our big ch@sseur casserole dish has a loose handle and there seems to be no way of tightening or securing it. I used the French enquiry form on their website (go me and my du0lingo français! 😉😊) to ask for help and they have referred me to their UK distributor, so I have started the process again this evening. This has been outstanding for quite a while!

Well that sounds absolutely dreadful @amandajmartin and while this is obvs an OATs thread and you are very welcome, please don't push yourself focusing on home and garden if you need to focus on your mental health and wellbeing instead. Your Dad I'm sure will be extremely proud of you for surviving that maelstrom in whatever way is needed.
@C_J I got gifted one of those weighted ones years ago and tried it once and it was so horrid I immediately gave it away. There are more pleasant ways of feeling active than experiencing gbh from your own belongings 😁 And hooray for the shed being down, you did it! 🥂
Ah that's good KajiKita. I'd forgotten your waist was meant to be half your height, thanks for the reminder. Have checked on the NHS website calculator and am okay if I stop stuffing my hormonal face! Well done doing the casserole dish enquiries
I have done small progress with monthly house clean and did an important bit of build related admin (updating changes of addresses for LPAs) that I've been putting off for over a month because I knew it would be tedious and complex, and I was right

Finally dealt with faulty door knocker, gained access to my Mozillion account so I can port my mobile number (should be done by the end of tomorrow), moved stuff into the plant room (not enough, but have ordered some baskets to corral stuff into), and spent ages measuring, drawing, and drawing on the floor but still can't quite decide on the floor plan. I'm currently trying to to work out whether I can put the spare dishwasher and oven in there along with the laundry stuff, F/F, freezer, cleaning stuff, and the dog and cat. It's huge, so it should be possible!
Locksmith has been, so office doors now have the same lock at the other doors. New door has bolts, but they need to get some different draught excluder and come back to fit that.
Have realised I need to chase up the part for the broken blind tomorrow, and check what else I need to get on my list. Builders are making progress, so decisions on utility room and kitchen need prioritising. I'm not sure the place I want to do my kitchen will be able to manufacture it for fitting before Christmas, but it would be good to get the design done and fitting planned in.
I'll have to draw up a proper floor plan tomorrow now I have all the measurements as I need to work out what we can reuse from the kitchen and what I'll need to buy.

well, feeling challenged (in a good way) by @KintsugiWhippet’s progress, I have contacted the guttering man, got a quote (ouch) and asked if he can do it next week! It’s a job that has only been waiting about four years. It will be great not having it pour off the end of the gutter and flood the patio every time it rains.
At this rate I might even get the flooring quoted for, one job at a time though.

@C_J - I bought a weighted hula hoop quite some time ago and couldn't do a thing with it. Then I learned that its better to start with a conventional light / wide one, get the hang of it and then progress. Its been a couple of days and I am still in a muddle. I know that I am supposed to rock back and forth from the third swirl onwards, but my brain gets confused and my pelvis circles along with the hoop, which is a recipe for failure. No number of Youtube tutorials can get past instinct!
I went back to the digging yesterday - planned to spend half an hour on the 15 indents already made but spent a lot longer and perspired considerably with effort! I've been concentrating on width and filling the holes with water several times to soften the ground below and have made good progress, they are visible holes that could cause an injury on an unsuspecting trespasser. Need to get a width of 45cm and varying depths, depending on how big the roots systems of my summer plants are. With my new found vigour and the assistance of this morning's rainfall, I feel tempted to use my new hand bulb planter and get some tulips and daffs in whilst the going is good. The sight of daffs starting to sprout at the end of January always fills me with assurance that winter will only have a few more weeks to run.
Progress on the paperwork is slow, I seem to be going round in circles with a couple of providers (the usual suspects). I'll be happy when I can cross this aspect off the list!

I have the hoola hoop on my wii fit, so no actual hoop involved. Yesterday when doing it I completely lost my balance & came off the balance board. There is no way I am going to try it with a weighed hoop - much too dangerous for me!

Sorting out my balance will be the "for me" task in October when I am on my way to mastering the hula hoop - I plan to buy a balance board.

Mobile number has been ported from Vodafone to Mozillion.
Blind part has been chased (again) and they are (apparently) sending out another one (again). Maybe one of the ones they claim to have sent will turn up at some point…
Builders making progress. Cat is not happy about the noise and people. They're also making a LOT of mess, but hopefully there's only one really messy job after this one (the other doorway that needs knocking through)… although we may need to bury some heating pipes in the kitchen at some point.
I really need to get a training course done and think about my broadband switch.
