Just popping in to say 'Many Happy Returns of the Day!' to Round.
Belovéd is currently at the horsepiddle having yet another scan. I'll be back when I get my head around things a bit more.

Why thank you my flylady friends 🥰 I'm having a lovely day 🥳
Today is the only day that popping is allowed and encouraged at this house. So my morning has been filled with visitors making the most of that freedom 🤣.
Sassy is wondering what on earth is going on - she's never seen so many people at the same time. 😉
I've not posted lately because I haven't flown much at all. In the run up to seeing the consultant on Thursday only the very basics were done. Good news: the histology report showed no further cancer in the other half of my thyroid which they removed 🥳. Bloods were taken to see if my dose of thyroxine needs adjusting. Consultant says he will ring me on Thursday to advise. Next step is the RAI treatment at Hull which they do several months after surgery. They'll let me know when. And breathe...
I've made my bed, fed the birds, and turned over most of the calendars- three down, two to go: but I still never know what day it is 🤦♀️
DS is popping after work this evening. So I'm looking forward to that. Been out for an impromptu lunch with Pops. So I'm flup and think a nanna nap is in order. All this peopling is tiring at my age 😴 Although my youngest godson told me yesterday that I don't look 66. He'd put me somewhere in my 50s 🤣
Flying will resume tomorrow. I will put the recycling out today though - its currently piling up on the draining board, so that's a quick fix.
Thank you again.
Love to all

Afternoon all, I've been missing for a few weeks as I got overwhelmed with so much that is going on in my life at the moment, with my marriage split, failing my degree, and children heading back to school. I'm back after taking a month to reset with a clear mind and new focus.
So far today, I have put my mobile in to get the screen repaired, taken DD to her hospital appointment, and signed up to start a new course this month.
My list for the rest of today
Tidy the kitchen and put dishes into DW- Organise my diary for September - Still got a bit to finish off
Collect mobile once it's repaired- Tidy up the sofa, as I currently have a lot of paperwork lying around
Take DD to her maths tuitionGo back to uni shopping whilst DD is at her tuitionTake DS to his drama groupTake DD to the stables so she can feed her poniesHave a read over the appeal paperwork for uni course, as I'm appealing the grades.
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today, so I'd best get started now that I have taken 10 minutes for a tea break.

Happy Birthday Round, sounds like your recovery is going to plan :)
Hope the hospital appointment goes OK for your DH HB
I dusted, polished and vacuumed through downstairs and washed the kitchen floor this morning. Also cleaned the toilet and sink. Then out with DD1 for coffee and shopping. Two washloads done first thing and dry by lunchtime so I then washed the bathtowels and they're on the line now.
Hope everyone's OK x

Thank you PB 🥳 xx
Recycling finally made it into the bin. Had another popper. Flowers now in a vase. Cards up. Envelopes binned.
Welcome back MMM 👋 You have a lot going on. Look after yourself xx
Too late now for a nanna nap if I want to sleep tonight.

I'm so sorry to hear about your degree MMM. You've worked so long and so hard on it. Can you resit the wonky modules?
Welcome back Lefty! You have been missed.
Belovéd's scan went okay, and apparently it was a 'glow in the dark' one so I'll know where he is if I wake up in the night. They've issued the next appointment but it clashes with our dentals, so he's trying to get it moved to later in the day. Oncology is not answering their phone. And it's three weeks away. Goodness this is drawn out.
One load through the WM and out on the line, brought back in to the kitchen on the trolley to finish off as the sky is looking very iffy. I had a huge pile of tea towels from all the cooking I did and none left in the drawer so it had to be done.
About 1.5kgs of tomatoes were left over from the weekend feast so I've turned them into oven roasted tomato soup. I happen to have a tub of whoopsied marscapone in the fridge so that'll be cream of tomato by the time I've mixed it in. The carrots were going over a bit, Belovéd doesn't like celery so I used the last of the big onions to make a couple of saucepans of veg stock which will be useful now that soup season is coming on. Leftover potatoes are being worked through as sautés (yum) in the evenings, I finished the last of the salad Nicoise for lunch, Belovéd finished the last of the hardboiled eggs as egg mayonnaise, along with the last of the homemade French bread. Sweet potatoes that were in the Too Good To Waste box are now all boiled up and I'll make them into dog treats with oat flour and sardines for Wren at some point, but that's enough activity for one day.

Happy birthday Round.
I'm a bit Billy-no-mates today; did gym swim and didn't meet up for coffee with S (class cancelled), K (awaiting a delivery), P (no note of excuse). Was just about to lid my coffee and take it to work when L arrived so had 5 mins chat. Work was similar as most people have left now. Still no news on progress of who is buying the college although it is apparently going through, which means we get to license the library and i can stay on to continue archiving. So I archived. Had most of my lunch alone and saw 5 other people at intervals between 11-5. All very strange. Kept head down as trying not to think about Mum, who's not doing well.
Loads more greengages to pick and freeze; freezer is full. Already gave some to neighbour and some to church friend.
I can't actually recall what flying has gone on here in the last few days; some but nothing startling. I think the emails are breeding; I've culled about a million and the number is still too high.
Anyway drum practice now as it's the 1st week of term and have I learned much over the hols? you guess.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.8 -
Washing brought in, rabbit hutch cleaned and put back together, proof read an essay for DD, reboiled damson jelly for a firmer set, been and scrumped lots of dessert apples to stash for rabbit treats over the winter. WUALTD. Emptied DW.

Evening all. Happiest birthday to Round.
The children have not long gone home, three of them here today so having tidied toys etc away , I am now sitting down for a few minutes before having a shower or a bath. I can't decide which. Back to paid stuff tomorrow and will also try to fly.
Spend less now, work less later.7
