maybe its about time Martin had a little word for us, see what he can make out, we are all getting different sorties as can be expected. Maybe if Martin gets some info & they dont stick to it, we may have something definate to go at...

Just been on Live Help and was told T&C's had not changed and therefore could not leave my contract???!
Today I am told contract has changed and am free to leave as long as it is due to the 0870 reason.

I was also told that it said in the email I got that I was free to cancel - it most certainly did not and I asked where it said that in the email. The 'customer services' person went away and came back to say that what they mean't was that it said the T&C's had changed. I was then supposed to read the T&C's and it would be clear I could cancel.
  • Yippee, finally got a MAC code and an expiration date for it. They must have had a lot of queries about cancelling since yesterday because I did not have to ask for the supervisor the chap on the other end of the phone went & gladly did everthing for me.
Thanks to BB, Derek 22 and everyone else just need to find a new ISP provider with low cost or free technical support lines.

    TIA

Virgin is only offering 512kb speed. You will find most ISPs will give you at least 1Mb for the same price.
The 3GB per month is the amount of download you can do within the price you are paying. Have a look at the following URL and it will give you an idea what you'll get for that. You can purchase extra GBs if you need them.

    Hope this helps.

I think the reference to the carpet in your link was the real problem!
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

Ah! Sorry about that. Yes I was dealing with a carpet problem earlier and still had that hat on.
