Google comes up with this for 16 inch wheels.

The car - Toyota Estima Aeras - is a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicle and as such was a grey import into the UK, most probably as a 10+ year old used car. There's no guarantee that the tyres that were fitted at time of import were the OE size.
On the sticker Toyota advises 205 65 16R 95H.
That's the size I'd be fitting, then.

A quick check at blackcircles shows only van tyres available in that size, which is a bit of a shame. I was hoping you'd have other options.

If you can see that's the size, and that's what you ordered then that is what they must fit, regardless of what their own flawed website might tell them. I suspect the high wear is actually unrelated to the size and more to do with the poor quality of manufacture of some budget brand. Try to go midrange at least. Maybe Kumho, Toyo or Yokohama
