I need a Solicitor to Sue a Local &/ County Council - can you help?
Apart from personal recommendations from others (which aren't available) and calling every number on The Law Society's List, is there any other way to find a Solicitor, willing to Sue a Council (Local &/ County)?
Organisations already tried to get help from include: Shelter & Citizen's Advice (and many others) - but none can point me in the direction of a Housing Solicitor, who has capacity to take on my case. Any suggestions??

The costs would be prohibitive: do not attempt this.
Have you discussed your problem with your elected councillor?
There is also a Local Government Ombudsman service.3 -
Thank you so much for your speedy reply - as this really is Hell on legs stuff !
My Local Councillor's ALL know what has being going on here - and they have done nothing whatsoever - and will do nothing.
Yes, thank you, I have also looked into the Local Government Ombudsman service, again, no results.
I am pretty certain it won't be me baring the costs of this case - that's why I want a Housing Solicitor, who will work with Legal Aid - as I am a Council House Tennant - thank you again 'Worried_fool', good to be able to check that I have tried all the right ones so far.

You should exhaust all the other avenues open to you first. The local /county council, your councillor(s), your MP, local organisations relative to your specific problem.

Thank you 'subjecttocontract' - as far as I know so far - I have done so. Thank you for your time.

If you called every Solicitor on the Law Society list and none willing to take on your case, why was that?
Have they all established that you have slim chances of success?
Anyway, if every Solicitor on the Law Society list has declined to take the case, engaging a Solicitor is not an option. You can only pursue via local Councillors and/or LG Ombudsman as suggested by others.
If you share a high level outline of the issue, there may be contributors to the forum that can offer comment based on their knowledge/experience.

OP hasn't called every solicitor on the list and is just looking for ways to avoid having to do that!

Thank you for your reply 'Grumpy_chap' - I appreciate it.
I realise now - that I didn't make it clear in my Post, that - I actually do not want to be telephoning every Solicitor Listed by The Law Society, I am looking for ways other than that, to find one.
Thanks again

Sorry, I misread. @eskbanker got it correct.
Anyway, pursuing via the local Councillors is probably a better route.
Or share a summary of the issue in case anyone can suggest anything.
