Can I have a nap now?

Kids not back until tomorrow but we were up and down at mum's to let some builders in at 8.30am. Several nights of very little sleep but last night I slept quite well, must have got about 6 hours but sat here yawning now!

Must get the ebay stuff done this morning.

    Morning

Back from school run, no car as DH borrowed it as his is in the garage.

In theory this should mean I get the house under control because I cant go to the shops, etc. In reality, I am behind already as DH has just left - get nothing done when he's around - have to walk mad puppy before lunch, will walk to garage to pick car up when ready later (about 25 mins) then pick DD up from school at 3.

Hope to get some of the list done too.

    xx

I am intrigued as to how you managed to get so many baskets for £14.98 from Argos!

    A day late and a dollar short . . . but I'm here - again!

Congrats Aunty Solway, I've no passport to worry about, hope doggy is OK, and hugs to everyone else!

Don't start working both jobs again until next Monday, just one for two days until then, so I have a couple of days up my sleeve to get a bit sorted after the silly season.

    Tuesday I will:
Do as much of kitchen as possible
Check out the Tuesday list and try and do, too
    DS3 dentist in the afternoon
    Get washing up to date
    Update personal budget book
    Dust
Vacuum and return sisters vacuum to her
Phone vacuum shop and see if I can get another hose for mine
Iron before my ironing board collapses with the weight!

    Right - off to bed . . .

    Night night :)

I hate that vet! Got in, with Dog and DS2, a struggle in itself. And had to bloody wait 20mins while they faffed about getting the from to sign. As other folk came in at their alloted time and started demanding to drop their dog's off I had to struggle with Dog and DS2 who kept touching the flamin fire! And it's tiny. Is it really too much to ask that they print out the forms the day before so all you have to do is hand over dog and sign? No, you have to sit about for 20 mins!

And DS2 was a little !!!!!! the last few minuets, can't say I blame him right enough! He is away for a nap. My todo

    :coffee: before anything else!
    Phone kennel
    Load bags into car
    Dishes
Pack tree away, or get it off the couch
Sort out what has to go up the loft for hubby tomorrow
    Go to tip
Get a fleece liner for dog bed
Mop living room floor where I made tyre marks!
    S&S living room
    S&S bathroom
Do a washing and get it in TD so I can try my TD balls

oh happy memory, all the flirting I did while buying them from currys yesterday!

It was a glitch on the website at Argos sale.

As you were putting in multiples, the price kept dropping. The baskets are for Christmas, birthday hampers.
Starting on the kitchen now, honest....

    Morning all

Raining here and it's so dark I'll have to put the light back on soon!

Washed one load of clothes, then DD's throw from her bed, then the cats blankets, then machine on empty (with soda crystals and vinegar in the drawer) to get rid of hairs and freshen it up.

    All draped round indoors.

Kitchen: all cupboard doors wiped, worktops done (moved everything and cleaned underneath), toaster decrumbed and wiped, kettle wiped, microwave too.

Cleaned top and front of cooker. I'll need a new one this year (grill broken) so there's no point in cleaning the oven is there? ;)

    Table wiped, windowsills wiped.

The fridge is nearly empty so that was easy to wipe out, shopping coming tomorrow.

Damp-wiped living room and computer desk. Vacuumed right through downstairs.

I was given a jigsaw crossword for Christmas. My son helped me with the jigsaw but it's a cryptic crossword (which I'm very bad at) so I've been working on the clues on a sheet which we enlarged on the computer and printed. The writing was so tiny. I started filling in a few today and luckily found that I can rub out the pen with a pencil rubber if something is wrong as the surface is shiny. Pencil won't show up, I tried. Still going to be a mammoth job. I've put it away again now before I lose my temper with it (good job we had a jigsaw board).
  • Just stopped for a :coffee:and thought I'd update my list.
