THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.

This is brilliant! I work full time, have a young adult with a health problem, OH often away with work etc and needed the motivation this has given me. I'm making me a list and may even have it laminated to put up in the kitchen! Thank you.:T

Pink Fairy, I hope this thread helps you. I will mention that the lists do change each weekly, mainly in a different order for tasks (so if you only do level 1 in the kitchen for 3 weeks you haven't only cleaned the floor) and different extra tasks. Some do exactly what you have said and laminate the lists, some do lists from a few weeks (if you add weekly+flylady+thread into the forum search box up there ^^ then the rest will come up on the search aswell as a few other threads) then rotate them.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Ahhhhhhh toothache

Everyone in bed but me so gonna take this tablet and hopefully have a good night's sleep.

Serena i hope your not coming down with this bug, get plenty of rest.

I think it is just the downer after christmas but hubby is so doing my head in:rotfl: payback tonight i made him help DD with her homework which he has never done before and she's in P.3:eek: .

It is so cold in this house it's beyond a joke, one half of the house is fine but the bedroom are freezing it's like standing at the north pole. At the minute i have an electric blanket under bed sheet (it doesn't be put on, but keeps some heat in), 2 winter quilts, 2 hot water bottles and an electric heater on in our room everynight and it's still freezing.

The sooner this house is sorted the better, that's what me and hubby's arguing about, he want's to leave it all and what till the summer when the damp proofing is done but i want to try and get the house in better shape now:mad: .
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Kimberley you are braver than me, I threaten to do that but just can't cope when it builds up, I end up with more panic attacks :o wish I could do something like 'Mum's on Strike' as it'd take me not being here for me to be able to do it, saying that they also show you the videos of how they are coping and I'd end up on the next bus home!!!

Ha ha, well it probbaly will only last a few days, but i'm hoping the shock will get their backsides into it, they are not young kids either

Maybe i should just let them live in their own mess :D

    Evening all.

Hope you all had a good day, busy chatting again i see so cant poss keep up with all of you but did see tia was poorly - glad you got someone taking you to Dr's as there is no way you should drive when feeling like that. I remember when I was in the ambulance service going to a girl who had been sent home from work as she was feeling dizzy, went home on her moped. We picked her up off the side of the road on her way home - broke her back  .

    Today I have done
    • Up at 545 to sort uniforms and packed lunches as too lazy to do it last night.
    • Left for work at 730
    • Finished work hour early again as worked thru lunch to help out.
    • Went into town to get OH birthday cards and pressies from kids for tomorrow.
    • Came home 20 to 5
    • Cooked spag bol for me and DS (DD at friends and OH going to work)
    • Answered tel call from my friend who I have sent flowers to for her birthday for at least the last 10 years to find her birthdays not 9th but 13th :o
    • Went to parenting class or whatever they want to call it - large group of about 20 and of course OH managed to get out of it by doing overtime. Have learnt that I'm not alone with my troubles and that there are some who have bigger problems than me, but I think I was the only one to have had a child rescued off the roof by a fire crew :rotfl:
    • Picked up DD from best friend and learnt she is moving to Nottingham at half term  so arranged for her to come round for the day on Saturday
    • Wrapped up OH's pressies and written cards
    • Got DD into bed and done a quick tidy of her room
Still have to clean tea things up and S/S kitchen so decided (sorry lil_me) that your list can wait until weekend

:rotfl: my friend's son was rescued off a roof before Kaz, thinking of how dangerous it was I shouldn't laugh but like his Mam said 'if you don't laugh you'd cry'. He was spotted by a delivery guy thankfully as it was about 11pm and she had no idea he was on the roof. You're definately not alone in having problems, with the 'partner' as they call them sometimes, mine avoided 90% of the classes, the ones he did attend he just moaned/grumped etc his way through. That was after I had to get him out of the house to go which involved making sure he didn't go to work, ignoring his screaming hissy fits over having to go, dragging the sheets off him in the bedroom to stop him pretending he couldn't hear me trying to wake him etc, suppose part of me then understood why I had some of the problems with my son, because he had that for a role model! Well done for going, can be daunting at first, I hope it does help you. I know what you mean about others having bigger problems, as one course went on that I did a lady had her son taken into care, I cried just listening to her breaking her heart over it, was awful but also the people in the group were very supportive which was nice to see.

Thanks to you tracy, lil_me, Dusty, torianut for the hugs this morning, I really appreciate them :) As I type my lil boy is fast asleep in this own bed having been to after school club today and thoroughly enjoying himself :)

Been busy doing 27 million fling boogies at work today, am knackered lol I have been packing up paper work that we have to keep for years to send to a big black hole somewhere. All has to be boxed and logged, kept me out of trouble anyway :p But the question is why do I find it so easy to do at work but not at home? :o

Will read a few more posts and then bed, so expect random replies!

Hope you are all ok, have a good day tomorrow and I'll see you all at the w/e. xx

  • Hi, well Ive finally caught up with the thread, and can post. Have not had a bad week, although definately only level one. Havent even had chance to clear out any carp, which is my top job. I am pleased with how tidy the house is looking in general though, this thread has really made a difference. Cant say it is much cleaner though, but there are some clean skirting boards etc in the house!!!
Well, I have started IVF again, and had my first jab today. Only one this time, and I start with the second one tomorrow. All being well, egg collection will be roughly two weeks time. So, apart from tootling around the house, my biggest aim is to keep as stress free as possible, cos last time I was really really stressed, and I think that this was probably why it didnt work. So Chilling as much as possible - and yes I probably should be in bed by now!!! Still, now I have caught back up on the thread, I should be able to post again.
Tia, I hope you get your dizziness sorted at the docs tomorrow, that sounds really awful you must be desperate for some relief
Pigpen - well done for posting those photos, my spare room would be a match for yours, but other than that I,m not doing too bad. I hope you moved the lakeland box before bed, It didnt look soft enough to sleep on!
AnW's mum, big hugs for your little boy - you are all doing so well, you are so strong, we can all imagine what it must be like, but the reality must be so much more.
HUGE HUGS to everyone else, I have been reading for ages and I cant remember anymore, anyway nighty night
