(( Hugs to all who could do with one ))

I never managed to get on here yesterday and update, I was trying to catch up with the thread but you all post so much by the time I was off to bed I still hadn't finished reading and so never posted mine!

Wednesday I did a huge (about 2 hours I think) tidy of the top of my big chest of drawers, it involved sorting out my huge hair accessory (hereafter referred to as hairtoy) box, sorted out some unused stuff to give to friends next time we meet. Found several children's teeth and letters from the tooth fairy that needed filing away, wondered to myself why on earth I have kept every single tooth they have ever lost(?) and decided they can each have a small cardboard earring box with all their teeth and letters in, and when they are older I will show them :) I found one of the letters my son had replied on the back in scrawly writing "thank you dandelion for my pound coin" - must have been tiny when he wrote that and I only just found it!

You would not believe how much carp was on that chest of drawers. Now I can actually use it without the danger of losing whatever I put onto it :) I dealt with all the stuff I took off it straight away, thats what took so long. Buttons went in the button pot in my sewing box, ebay stuff went to one of many ebay boxes, rubbish went in the bin, charity shop stuff is in a bag waiting to go with more stuff soon hopefully, and anything else that had a proper home was put back in place.

Only trouble was I didn't do any of the other things on my list! Yesterday was a bit of a non-flying day for me, all I did was laundry, lunch and dinner and met my brother for coffee in the daytime. So today I need to finish off some online stuff and then get on with this house.

    Morning everyone,
Happy Birthday Rach :bdaycake: and Kaz's OH.

Lilo fingers crossed for you hun.

Tia hope your feeling better this morning.

    AnW (((((hugs)))) to you all.

Kids at school and youngest is just a yap today, he say's he's hungry eventho he had a bowl of cereal, toast and 2 bananas and still he wants more. I swear that boy has worms or something:rotfl: .

Went to libary last night and got 2 books on looking after and repairing things in the house, so OH better get his butt in gear.

I'm gonna list 3 things at a time today and i'm gonna stay away from the computer until there done and then i'll do another 3 ect, i think i'd get lost in a HHC.

    List.
    1) Clean out fire and bring in a bag of coal and lit.
    2) Collect all dishes from round the house and get them washed.
3)Clear livingroom of all rubbish, clothes so that it's easier late to clean.

Right be back when it's all done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

As long as it's before 5pm the day before I think it is you can change/add to/reduce Asda orders BUT you MUST check out when finished or it doesn't work.

I think you can tia but you have to go through checkout all over again, not 100% positive though.

Have a nice time at the Metro Centre lil_me.

Quick question: How do I blanche then freeze vegetables? I've got some in the fridge but don't think they'll stay fresh enough to use Sunday, but I've no idea how to blanche. Oh and can I freeze them in an old (clean) bread bag? :o
